🇮🇳Recently, I’ve watched a podcast of Dr. Jaishankar on “Figuring out” which is run by Raj Shamani. In this podcast, a lot of insights given by Dr Jaishankar, he says that now India has reached on a strategic position in the world due to tremendous increase in technology specially financial sector. ✅According to a statistics, India ranks top in the world’s most efficient payment gateway systems, even when recently Bill Gates visited India, he gives such statement that” I literally shocked to see that much growth in India” in just few years. ✅We’ve to believe that we could be an option for the different countries in terms of business expansion, growths, because frankly speaking, we just need to develop narrative that India could be world leader itself. #rajshamani #growth #india #enterprenurship

💡 “India was told, again and again, look at these countries…they went on to become the #AsianTigers!” Gurcharan Das was one of the first to predict that post-liberalisation, India would turn into a place of boundless energy and enthusiasm. Years ago though, through the 70s and 80s, it saw East Asian countries - #Singapore, #Taiwan, #SouthKorea and #HongKong - race ahead in the economic growth race... and there was one mantra! The export of simple, low-technology, labour-intensive manufactures. This, while strict government regulations in India kept the prospect of an industrial revolution at bay. "So we got our true 'economic' freedom in 1991", says Das in the third episode of our podcast, #FEDDialogues Watch the full episode here: https://lnkd.in/gKQdjiSg To get more such insightful content on economic growth in your inbox every month, subscribe to our newsletter through the link in comments. #IndianManufacturing #IndiaLabour #LabourIntensive #IndiaEconomicGrowth #IndiaEconomy #IndiaLiberalisation

Nilesh Shah at his best as always. Must listen. “Triveni Sangam of talent, capital and infrastructure has changed India from being close to the global growth train to becoming engine of the global growth train.” “At one point of time, MTNL had bigger market cap than Reliance Industries Limited, India's largest market cap company. “How can our Abhimanyu win if he has to fight both Kauravas as well as Pandavas together? So undoubtedly, the biggest task for the government is improving ease of doing investment for corporate India and entrepreneurs and ease of living for the citizens of India.” https://lnkd.in/dFyRKt9F

Breaking news: Indian is not a country full of snake charmers 🐍 India is powerhouse. India is the 5th highest GDP in the world. The CEO of Google is Indian. The CEO of Microsoft is Indian. The CEO of IBM is Indian. Get my point? But why is India not viewed in a different light? Why do outdated stereotypes still exist? We spoke to Yamini Gupta about this on a recent episode of The Hippo Question Podcast. I'll leave Yamini to explain better. What are your thoughts? Do you feel that your country and how you are perceived is unfair/outdated? Podcasts today are great way of learning. But you have to choose the right one for you. I do a lot of learning from these podcasts. You learn about different countries, cultures, business model, startups and many more things. Yesterday I saw a Podcast of Shashank Dixit with Ranveer Allahbadia and really one of the best podcasts. 1. The guy is from very humble background. 2. No showoff, No polish Language. Just a guy from non-metro. Felt like you are listening to a friend. 3. One fact which he told that in China there is city name SHENZHEN which was a village and now it is electronic capital of the world. One of the most developed cities in China throws out the fact that India is far behind in developing Tier-3 to Tier 5 cities in terms of Infrastructure. 4. He also told that infra in some of Tier-3 cities in China is also better than some of Tier-1 cities of India. 5. I am from city Jagadhri (Tier-5), Haryana which is plywood hub of India. Almost 60% production of India goes out from there. But still city has worst Infrastructure from last three decades and no development has taken place there. Though some improvements have been done by Center government in terms of national highway but still a lot has to be done by State government. 6. Likewise, there are many clusters in India which is hub of manufacturing of a particular product and mostly are in Tier 3 to Tier 6 cities but still Infra wise they are weak. 7. One fact which I also agree with his podcast is that India can go ahead only if it makes its manufacturing capability strong like China did in last 20 years. It will really develop skills of people specially who are below poverty line and will help them get a better life. Software development alone can't achieve it. 8. Though Government has rolled out One district One Product and most of these cities are in non-metros and even some are village. Lots of development in these cities are requires to be like China. 9. There has been a lot of focus on certain cities like Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore. 10. It's time to focus on infra of smaller cities, develop manufacturing capabilities which result in better skill development and income generation of youth living there. #podcast #knowledge #indianeconomy #manufacturing #trs
