We stand in awe of the courage of those before us who have fought the fight to not only secure our freedom, but to be global protectors. While we face daily, not so scary challenges, may we remember those who gave the ultimate price to protect the greater good of who we are, and to stand strong in the face of opposition to the values we hold dear. This weekend is a chance to honor such sacrifice, and at DPH, we do so with unwavering humility and understanding that we are only who we are each day, because of the sacrifice made well before our time! And, “not so long ago”! Thank you, thank you, thank you to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to build such an amazing landscape and trusted us with it. May we honor you well!

This Memorial Day, as we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, let's also consider how we can support our veterans who continue to protect us in new ways, especially in the field of cybersecurity. Veterans bring a unique set of skills to cybersecurity—discipline, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of risk management. Default action and decisiveness also make them invaluable in incidents response. They have defended our freedoms on the battlefield, and now many of them are on the front lines of our digital defenses. Here’s how we can honor their service: 1. Hire Veterans: Actively seek out veterans for cybersecurity roles. Their military experience provides a strong foundation for tackling cyber threats. The Honor Foundation is a great source. 2. Provide Training: Offer specialized training programs to help veterans transit ion into cybersecurity careers. This not only benefits them but also strengthens our security infrastructure. 3. Mentorship Programs: Establish mentorship initiatives that connect veterans with experienced cybersecurity professionals. This helps them navigate the corporate world and develop new skills. 4. Support Networks: Create support networks within organizations to address the unique challenges veterans may face in the civilian workforce. 5. Raise Awareness: Advocate for the importance of cybersecurity and the valuable role veterans play in protecting our digital assets. Just as they protected our nation, veterans now help safeguard our businesses and personal data. By integrating their skills into cybersecurity, we not only honor their past service but also enhance our security measures. This Memorial Day, let’s recognize the ongoing contributions of our veterans. They continue to serve and protect, ensuring our digital world remains secure. By supporting them, we honor their legacy and build a safer future for all. #MemorialDay #VeteransInCybersecurity #HonorAndProtect #DigitalDefense #Gratitude #cyber #infosec #cybersecurity #cyberinsurance #ir #incidentresponse #cyberwar

WHY DO MANY COUNTRIES HONOR THE GRAVES OF THE UNKNOWN SOLDIERS? Countries honor the graves of unknown soldiers for several key reasons: 1.Recognition of Sacrifice: Unknown soldiers symbolize the countless individuals who gave their lives in military service without their identities being known or confirmed. Honoring them acknowledges the ultimate sacrifice made by many who died in combat. 2.Inclusivity: By commemorating unknown soldiers, nations ensure that all who served and died, regardless of whether their remains were identified, are honored. This inclusivity respects the contribution of every soldier. 3.National Unity and Remembrance: Memorials for unknown soldiers serve as focal points for national remembrance and reflection. They provide a place for citizens to come together to honor the collective memory of all who have served, fostering a sense of unity and shared history. 4.Symbol of Hope and Healing: For families and communities that never received closure about their missing loved ones, these memorials offer a place to grieve and remember. They provide a symbol of hope and healing by acknowledging the grief of those who never learned the fate of their relatives. 5.Moral and Ethical Responsibility: Honoring unknown soldiers is a moral and ethical gesture, showing that a nation values and remembers every individual who served, regardless of whether their names are known. Overall, the graves of unknown soldiers represent the sacrifices of many and serve as powerful reminders of the costs of war, the value of peace, and the importance of remembering those who have served.

September 11, 2024 The border crisis has been moved, by the Biden/Harris Administration, across America to your state where your state tax dollars will have to deal with all the medical, hospital, educational, housing, crime and other costs for the millions of illegals. An army of terrorist “gotaways” are now in America. An estimated 100,000 gotaways a month, 1,200,000 a year. Are they criminals, sex predators, mentally ill, human traffickers, gang members, drug cartel members, terrorists or sleeper cells? An army of terrorists now in America will make the 911 World Trade Center look like a warm-up and no one is paying attention! Only 19 terrorists to take out the World Trade Center and we have over one million, per year, “gotaways” that crossed the border. Just think what 190,000 terrorists will be able to do. The border and America are not secure. Our cities are not safe. America is not safe.
Today, we remember the immense sacrifices made on September 11th, a day that forever changed our nation. We honor the bravery of the first responders, the strength of the survivors, and the memory of those who perished. On this Patriot Day, let us stand together in unity, as we always have, to remember and to proclaim: Never Forget.
