👩💻 Qualities of Bilingual Customer Service: In today's diverse and interconnected world, the demand for bilingual customer service in (EE. UU.) grows more and more. As businesses expand globally and communities become more multicultural, the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages is not just a desirable skill, but a crucial asset. A bilingual customer service representative serves as a bridge between cultures, enhancing the customer experience and fostering inclusivity and that is part of what I have been developing and doing throughout my professional and personal career. Firstly, fluency in both English and another commonly spoken language such as Spanish, This fluency goes beyond mere translation; it involves understanding nuances, idioms, and cultural subtleties to ensure clear and accurate communication. I look forward to the possibility of discussing this opportunity further and sharing how my passion aligns with the vision and goals from any company interested in bilingual customer support. Hope y'all have a great day! 🙂 #remotework #remoteopportunities #eeuu #Usa #opentowork #bilingual #spanish #english

Can we really have it all? I’m passionate about my business, International Translations Limited , I love the idea that we play such a pivotal part in introducing national brands onto the international stage and helping people with global expansion and maintaining international relations. I’m also absolutely amazed that I get to be mum to the most incredible and funny little girl. It’s the best and most important job I will ever do. My week days now involve dog walks, client calls, feeding the baby, sorting out emails, sales, changing nappies, dealing with the business admin bits that only I can do, helping my team, cooking easy but healthy meals, attempting to go to the gym or swimming (not every day but as often as I can), zoom meetings (with or without baby on my lap if she refuses to sleep) and trying to make sure all the important and urgent stuff is done as a minimum both at home and the business. Some days it works a charm, other days life happens and things feel a bit more overwhelming. I used to worry that I would have to choose between either having a business or having a child. As it happens I’m here and I’m doing both. I feel very much like I’m just muddling along but everyone is alive and well at home, with the exception of the houseplant that I’ve managed to finish off and the business is thriving. So to answer my question above, I think we probably can have it all, just not necessarily all at the same time. Just ask the houseplant 🪴🤦🏼♀️ Oh and if you need any help with any language services, just reach out to Stephen Clarke because delegation is now my friend! #languageservices #worklifebalance #translation

Happy New Year Everyone. How's the year coming by? So, picture this: you're sitting at your desk, sipping on a cup of coffee ☕, and your phone starts ringing off the hook. You pick it up, and bam! You're greeted with a customer who doesn't speak your language. What do you do? Do you panic or start searching for Google Translate!? 🦸♀️ Being a bilingual CSR is no walk in the park. You're like a linguistic superhero, juggling two languages like a pro. One minute you're speaking English, and the next you're fluently switching to Spanish, French, or whatever language your customer happens to speak. But it doesn't stop there. Your power doesn't just lie in your language skills. No, no, my friend. You've got a heart of gold too. You're not just there to answer questions and solve problems; you're there to empathize, understand, and make your customers feel like they're talking to a friend. Because let's face it, nobody wants to have a conversation with a robot-like customer service rep. 🤖 You dig deep, listen attentively, and solve complaints. You take the time to understand your customers' needs and find creative solutions to their problems. You're so good at what you do and your clients drops nice reviews about you. And let's not forget about your multitasking abilities. You're juggling calls, emails, and live chats all at once. But here's the kicker: you do all of this with a smile on your face. You're spreading positivity and good vibes wherever you go. Your customers can't help but feel the warmth through the phone. Dear Customer Service Reps, Keep saving the day, one phone call at a time. And remember, in the words of a very wise man named Yoda, "Do or do not, there is no try." 💪 My name is Chika, and I am a bilingual Customer Service Representative. #BilingualCSR #CustomerServiceHero # #FrenchEnglishCSR

Founder & CEO of Your Trilingual Support | Supporting international HNWIs & Executives | Business Support | Operations | Lifestyle Management | Luxury Travel | Events Management | International Liaison | Translation
Languages, and the European way of life, have been my love and passion for as long as I can remember. I was enamoured with learning French and Spanish at school, which naturally continued into my college years and at university where I completed a BA (Hons) in languages and translation. There was no doubt in my mind that languages and Europe would be a huge part of my professional and personal life. My ultimate goal was to live the Mediterranean way of life, while speaking French and Spanish daily. But turning this dream into a reality did not happen overnight. For two years I searched for a ‘secure’ and interesting in-house Translator or multilingual Executive Assistant role, where I could support an international CEO or HNWI in Spain but nada...nothing to be found. It was then mid-pandemic, when the world was turned upside down and I was working in London as a C-Suite bilingual EA from my dining room table, I realised just how much I wanted my Mediterranean dream and how working outside of the typical ‘office set-up’ could be feasible for me, without taking a step back in my career. Days later, I quit my in-house bilingual EA role at a Mayfair/Parisian Hedge Fund and started to build Your Trilingual Support, initially offering freelance translation and virtual trilingual Executive Assistance. And plans for the Spanish move began… Setting up home here is a dream come true. Spain has always captivated me with its beautiful language, rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant lifestyle. By relocating here, I'm able to embrace a lifestyle and business I adore: providing multilingual virtual EA support to international CEOs and HNWIs. Dreams don’t happen overnight, but once you aim high, focus and put in the hard work, anything is possible. Now, I'd love to hear from you! What drives your career and business endeavours? Share your 'why' in the comments below ⬇ #trilingualassistant #virtualassistant #executiveassistant #multilingualism #globalcommunication #businessgrowth #french #spanish #globalreach #internationallifestyle #HNWI #internationalexecutives #assetmanagement #familyoffice #lifestylemanagement

So often there is a concern about non- business related courses at university and how employable you will be. Its important to think about how much you can transfer your skills to the business world. Love this post regarding language skills. Don't panic as you transition into the workplace - much of the business knowledge you will need can be picked up either through the training in your role or through specific courses. Let's be honest there is so much that you can learn if you want to beyond your university course. To all those language speakers out there that I have seen shine in business! (There are far too many to note here).
BA Hons French, Spanish and Italian Multilingual Technical Support Engineer at ORACLE | NTU Alumni Fellow 🎓| Writer 🖋️ Player and Secretary at Bingham Town Women FC ⚽
When I graduated 11 years ago I was completely oblivious to how my multilingual skills could benefit a company. When I was first hired by a company I thought that they were doing me a massive favour by hiring me as I told myself ''all I can offer is four languages, a bit of customer service experience and nothing else". Not long into my career I started to realise that I was also doing the company a huge favour by speaking four languages. When I started my first role clients in France and Spain were frustrated as they were never offered technical support in French and Spanish. As soon as they discovered that their languages were supported they phoned regularly and built up strong relationships with myself and my colleague. As I started building up some experience in Credit Control/Customer Service and Technical Support while using three foreign languages I started to build confidence in myself. During interviews I found myself interviewing the interviewer rather than them just interviewing me. It wasn't arrogance, it had just become crystal clear on how linguists can hugely benefit a company and boost their profits enormously. If you're able to speak two, three or even four languages you will find that you will; 1 - Support clients from all over the world.. 2 - Help encourage new clients to choose your service as their language is supported 3 - Maintain clients as other service providers may not speak their language Linguists are priceless to a company. Why sell to solely English speaking clients when you can sell to clients of other native languages all over the world just by hiring linguists? Linguists can be worth thousands/millions of pounds to a company. That's why I tell all linguists to never underestimate their worth.... Keep growing, know your worth and stand your ground...

Which language does your company need the most? For a lot of German companies, it’s Spanish. Surprising? Not really. Let’s dive into why Spanish is becoming a game-changer for German companies. 🏊♀️ 🌎 It is the second most spoken language in the world by native speakers and is widely spoken across Latin America. Many companies are increasingly looking to 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱 into these markets, making Spanish a valuable business language. 💬 Spanish-speaking nations offer significant trade and investment opportunities for German businesses. Therefore, many German companies opt for Spanish native speakers to facilitate stronger 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 and negotiations in these regions. 🏖 Spain remains a top tourist destination for Germans. Speaking the local language is useful in the tourism and hospitality industry. Proficiency in Spanish can enhance 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 and create a more positive experience for Spanish-speaking tourists. If you don’t want to be left behind while other companies embark on a Spanish-speaking journey sign up now on Europe Language Jobs and hire one of the multilingual candidates on our website!
