Can Commentary be Disability Inclusive? During the recently concluded #T20WorldCup, there were many instances where terms like "langda" and "andha" were used casually during commentary. Such terms are not only outdated but also disrespectful and hurtful to individuals with disabilities. Sports have the power to influence so many and it's crucial that our language reflects inclusivity. We need to find alternative words to put our points across. As Disability Pride Month starts, we need to have commentary that celebrates athleticism without resorting to derogatory language.
