Devro China runs successful Intern programme. #DevroChina recently presented on the topic of "Promoting High-Quality Corporate Services & Building a Bridge between Talent Supply and Demand" to the Human Resources and Social Affairs Bureau of Nantong Economy and Technology Development Area (NETDA). To meet the demand for professional talent at #Devro, a strategic co-operation agreement on talent supply was signed between government, Nantong Science and Technology Vocational College and Devro Nantong in 2023. Last year we recruited 10 students from the Nantong Institute of Science and Technology through the tripartite co-operation programme, and successfully recruited 11 students this year, which greatly improved the labour efficiency, and at the same time reserved skilled talent for the upcoming capacity expansion project. Yumin Jiang, a member of the Party Working Committee and Minister of the Human Resources and Social Affairs Bureau of NETDA, congratulated Devro Nantong on its development achievements in the past 10 years and expects Devro to have a great and sustainable development in the future. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with NETDA. #InternProgramme #Internship #Careers

For over a decade, our internships and educational initiatives have provided young specialists with opportunities to embark on their professional journeys. 🚀 📌 This year was the most eventful for Kazakhstan. Here's what Aliaksandra Akulava, Our Early Talent Programs Manager, has to say about it: “We have begun to develop internships on a larger scale and to promote specific directions in greater depth. First of all, we need specialists in testing, so we are looking for ways to attract students' attention to this area. I am grateful to Slava Shahoika for support in this matter and also to the managers — Mikhail Barabolkin and Dmitriy Yeryomin, who provided the guys to speak at universities in Almaty in the autumn. They are already working on their reports and presentations. We are also preparing speakers in the following directions: Eugene Popolamov — Ruby, Mihail Gorelikov — Go, Nadirbek Nazaraly — Front-end, Dina Dudnik — PM. The guys will visit not only state universities, but also small private universities, as well as such large and famous educational institutions as Suleyman Demirel University and International University of Information Technology. As for Kyrgyzstan, this year we successfully started a Python traineeship. But our primary task is to expand our own Vention team in Kyrgyzstan, which in the future will be able to develop specific directions and share its knowledge with young developers”. As you can see, there will be a lot happening!Every student is eager to come to us. And our task is not just to provide a place where guys can use theoretical knowledge in solving specific problems, but also to motivate them for further development, guide them in choosing a direction and help them with their diploma work. 📚 Check out our vacancies ➡️ https://lnkd.in/e66qGGEr and join the Vention team to share your experience and knowledge with young developers and become an example for them. 💪 #Vention #Kyrgyzstan #Internships #Universities #Educational_Initiatives #JoinVentionTeam #CareerOpportunities

**Continuing to explore the Finnish education system...** In Finland, internships play a crucial role and are an integral part of both the educational process and the transition into professional life. 1. **Työharjoittelu (During Studies):** This is the internship students do while they’re still studying. The goal is to help them put theory into practice, gain hands-on experience, and understand what working in their chosen field really looks like. It’s usually part of their coursework. - **Duration and Requirements:** Typically lasts a few weeks to a few months, depending on the program. The focus is on gaining foundational skills with guidance from the school and workplace. - **Contract and Payment:** Often unpaid or minimally compensated, as it’s part of the educational curriculum. The contract is usually informal and handled through the school. 2. **Harjoittelujakso (Post-Graduation Internship):** This is the next step, done after finishing studies. It’s more in-depth and gives graduates a chance to dive deeper into their profession, getting real-world experience while still having guidance from mentors. - **Duration and Requirements:** Generally lasts longer (up to a year) with stricter expectations. Interns are expected to take on more responsibility and handle more complex tasks independently. - **Contract and Payment:** Typically comes with a formal employment contract and is usually paid. The compensation is more aligned with the industry standard, and it’s often viewed as a trial period for potential long-term employment. **What makes it different:** Työharjoittelu focuses on basic skill-building during studies, with more flexible requirements and minimal compensation. Harjoittelujakso, on the other hand, involves higher demands, a formal contract, and better pay, helping graduates make a smooth transition into the workforce. #FinnishEducation #Internships #Työharjoittelu #Harjoittelujakso #EducationSystem #ProfessionalDevelopment #CareerGrowth #Finland #keuda Keski-Uudenmaan koulutuskuntayhtymä Keuda # Metropolia University of Applied Sciences

Internship in the ITCILO CATALYST initiative team is open. So I realized how blessed I have been with the interns recruited through the regular ITCILO internship programme in the last years. Alejandro Rojas Ramos is working at INTERPOL in Singapore. But most importantly, is a marvelous mind at the intersection of tech and real-life pyhlosophy, I am proud to be called a #friend by this slightly younger brother. Carmen L. is active in CSO inclusion projects in Spain. With her I learnt the term "#viejoven" and I can tell you this is a great asset of hers, being at the same time committed/serious and fun! Edmund Walusimbi is now at WFP in Rome. If he wasn't from Uganda, they could have thought we are brothers. Smiling, public #speaker, with one more #idea in mind than what you would think is possible and legal. Well, ok, I should have also been younger to be confused with him :) Lamà Shashit is now in for a new assignment here on Campus. I had to make sure, during a sushi lunch, that her father had the right information of how an #incredible young #woman he has raised! The internship vacancy for the CATALYST initiative ITCILO is open. But internship is much more than what is written there. It's not just a learning experience, it's not just about becoming familiar with the different facets of the world of work and of the UN system, it's not just an incredible networking opportunity. It's a shared glass of #wine on Friday night, a cup of #tea in the middle of the afternoon while preparing for the Academy, a dinner at my place playing with the kids, way-too-many chupitos after a way-too-big Mojito, some #sweets in the morning, a word of #friendship to manage stress, the thrill of that first webinar or that last session, the signature of a big #project. Read below and if you want to be part of our new exciting adventure, apply here: https://lnkd.in/dtfq4QFW and you may also be part of our next big event like the one below and try to find your face in so massive photos! #talent #internship #catalyst #integration #collaboration #learning #opportunity #youth

Employer Branding Group Lead in Baltic Banks at SEB. Developing, implementing and managing overall Employer branding strategy.
Yesterday, I stepped into a world of possibilities in Riga Business School. Looking at those curious students faces I realized … Meet-ups are so transformative and diverse... Like Alice`s Adventures in Wonderland: → there are so many paths … → but the most important thing what really interests you. We talked about #SEBYouthLAB - #SummerTraineeship, which is short and meaningful. You just step into different shoes. Try out which ones feel most comfortable. So that when the time comes to make the big choice you have already built up some valid experience: 1. Expand the network. 2. Learn company's culture. 3. Sharpen your skills in the real world. 4. And earn while you learn. So, I left the meet-up with one final thought yesterday. ➥ Traineeship is a treasure trove. ➥ Spot & seize opportunities. Why not dive into SEB Youth LAB – paid Summer Internship at SEB Latvija? 🌞 Apply now seb.lv/youthlab Credits to Lelde Elizabete Kusiņa, Julija Grigorjeva, Agnese Strazda and Riga Business School #YourFutureOurInvestment
