I participated on a AI panel discussion at the 3rd Annual Forbes Under 30 Summit in Botswana on the 6th of May. I was joined by two brilliant panellists, Bola Adegbulu and Rose Delilah Gesicho who showed great passion for AI and how best to Africa can benefit from this technology. I know this conversation is something to explore, as it does not take away what Africa has achieved, but the potential that lies ahead. https://lnkd.in/d3ajg-ff

What do African governments need to understand about AI and Big Data in order to provide support? Ronald Osumba, Senior Political Advisor at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, emphasises the transformative potential of these technologies in addressing critical issues across various sectors. But, the physical application of these technologies needs to be seen before the necessary support is arrived at. Yinka I. continues to blow our minds. We need an Africa pioneered by Africans who share the same thoughts and contextual reasoning with its problems. CDIAL.AI has already begun a mission impossible, utilizing the humungous capabilities of LLMs to delivering African languages in the most easy and accessible way (Generative & Conversational). A few years back, I was having a conversation with a friend about how my very own language (Ebira) is going into extinction due to travel and keeping up with the language when Pidgin & English is an easy adoption elsewhere. This is still a perplexing issue that gives me nightmares every time it comes across my mind. indigenius.ai has breached this gap and even promises a more exciting future as it pushes forward towards AGI in conversational AI in the African context. This is a realization that brings tears of joy. We will not only protect and preserve our dear African languages, but, we will even supercharge you with infinity stones from indigenius.ai where you can communicate freely with anyone on the African continent. More so, this will even help create a more integrated Pan-Africanism where language limitation knows no bounds. Indigenius is ushered through Web and Mobile platforms. It currently supports Arabic, English, Spanish, French, Pidgin, Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, Swahili, Xhosa, and Zulu just to name a few. Come on Africa! It's time to build Africa by Africans for Africa. We can't wait to have you join us. https://indigenius.ai #GenerativeAI #LLMs #Africa #ConversationalAI #YourLocalLanguage #CDIAL.AI Shona Ọlálérè #AfricanLanguages #JoinUs
CDIAL.AI has been named as part of the inaugural cohort for Accelerate Africa #AA1. At the demo day, we showcased how we're harnessing data for transformative change. Through our research, working with our partners and implementing the CDIAL.AI vision, it's become extremely evident that access to multilingual AI will trigger a quantum leap in Africa and communities across the world . Across the globe, no other continent stands to benefit more from AI agents in addressing current challenges, than African communities and businesses. Indigenius, our language model, understands and speaks a diverse range of African languages, empowering individuals and businesses alike to access and share information seamlessly. In addition, through our #CDIALTribe we're proud to offer diverse training datasets that resource foundation models and drive innovation. Join us in building a future where language is no longer a barrier but a gateway to opportunity. www.indigenius.ai Shona Ọlálérè Iyinoluwa Aboyeji Mia von Koschitzky-Kimani Oji Udezue Nkem Nweke #CDIALAI #Indigenius #AccelerateAfrica #AIforGood
