US Army NGSW Ammunition : The .277 Fury is a beast of a cartridge designed to shoot flatter and transfer more energy to its target at farther distances. The U.S. Army calls the round “next generation,” and based on .277 Fury’s capabilities, that is not an exaggeration. Compared to the current-issue service cartridges it’s slated to replace like 5.56x45mm and 7.62x51mm, the .277 Fury offers greater energy, improved terminal ballistics and higher ballistic coefficient bullets that slip through the air with ease.

The Model JU120 (4930-01-319-0787) accommodates wire rope diameters up to 108mm (4-1/4”) and is used with either35 pound, 120 pound or 400-pound size drums. The designations to use if ordered for 35-pound size Pails or full size 400-pound drums are JU35 and JU400 respectively. All Jumbo Systems are functionally identical except the JU400 utilizes a downtube fit for the depth of the 400-pound drum and the JU35 is fit for 35-pound size Pails. This is the most common System ordered for MSC and Navy Tugs due to their large 2” to 2-1/2” Tow Lines and fast inhaul speeds.
