#JDNproject • We keep it down for marine life 🫢. On the Gode Wind 3 wind farm, Les Alizés successfully installed three monopile foundations with significantly less noise. How she did that? With Ørsted's pioneering low-noise installation technology. The systems uses a patented jetting technology attached to the monopile to lower the resistance of the sandy soil. This way, monopiles can be installed with considerably less noise. Needless to say, we are extremely happy to contribute to this nature-friendly installation method from Ørsted. As we move towards a more electrified economy and a greater reliance on renewable energy, the demand for electricity storage will continue to rise to ensure system operability and security. Pumped storage, such as Drax Group’s hydro plant at Cruachan Power Station, is the only mature long-duration electricity storage (LDES) technology currently deployed on the UK energy system and there is policy backing for new capacity. Our expansion plans at #Cruachan are a building block in our target to deliver post 2027 EBITDA of £250m from FlexGen & Energy Solutions. A new Aquaicity report, commissioned by Drax, examines the need for LDES and the critical role Cruachan Power Station plays in the UK energy system. Read here: https://lnkd.in/ghDXHfXp

With the continuous growth of the solar market in Western Canada and the increased need for renewable energy sources, Sunbelt has the Vermeer PD10R Pile Drivers on fleet, ready to help increase production on site. The PD10R has been specifically designed to be operated by a full-function wireless remote, allowing an operator to handle machine functions — including engagement of the hammer, pile accuracy with the auto plumb feature, and ground drive — while remaining off the machine. An optional automation feature on the PD10R can also help improve jobsite efficiency and reduce the number of steps needed from the operator to complete the install. Ready to improve production on your next solar project ? Let us know. #solarfarm #renewableenergy #sunbeltrentals #sbr #piledriver #vermeer #westerncanada
