If most of Americans could understand Daniel Kahneman, Biden would sweepingly defeat Trump. https://lnkd.in/geaighyK If Americans thought fast, Trump would win. If Americans thought slow, Biden would win. Thinking fast mostly ends up with failure. Thinking slow mostly ends up with success. Therefore, Democrats should campaign Thinking fast and slow. Democratic Governors, who staunchly support Biden, should proactively recommend reading of Kahneman to American citizens. This is the most effective way to #scrap Trump's #demagoguery. 先週のディベートで分かった事は、トランプはThinking fast型でバイデンがThinking slow型だという事。ならば、カーネマンを読めばThinking slow型の方が大統領に向いているという事をvotersが理解出来るようになり、バイデンが圧勝する。 What Americans witnessed from last week's debate is that Trump is a fast thinker and Biden is a slow thinker. If that's the case, then by reading Kahneman, voters will understand that slow thinkers are better suited to be president, and Biden will win by a landslide. Enrichment of citizens' culture matters to defending democracy. If someone who does not understand Kahneman watches last week's debate, they will judge Trump to be the winner, but if someone who understands Kahneman watches last week's debate, they will judge Biden to have won by a landslide. Even when watching the same debate, the winner will change depending on the viewer's level of culture.

#MoneyTalks - Pushed Aside by Major Donors to the Democrats Major donors have sidelined #Biden, emphasizing the enormous influence of financial power in U.S. elections. Each election cycle becomes more expensive than the last, with the 2024 campaign potentially exceeding $1 trillion in total costs for either party. So far, each candidate has raised approximately $750M, with #Trump leading at $757M compared to Biden’s $746M. These financial stakes highlight the crucial role of campaign financing in shaping political outcomes. As the stakes continue to rise, the sway of major donors cannot be overlooked. The 2024 election is proving that #money doesn’t just talk—it #decides! What are your thoughts on the increasing influence of major donors in shaping elections? Let's discuss

The End of the Biden Presidency; President Biden has been facing a lot of pressure from his party (Democratic Party) to drop out of the 2024 race since his dismal performance during the Presidential Debate with President Trump. His situation has further been worsened by the fact that he is recovering from COVID and it is rumoured that the family as well as senior members of the party have urged him to do so. One thing for sure is that VP Kamala Harris can't beat the Trump team and Democrats must contend with this and choose a formidable candidate who can stand up to Trump This is first in American politics and it has serious implications on the international level, particularly the war in Ukraine and the Gaza area. President Trump has made it clear he will end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours of his Presidency if elected and he has the upper hand in the coming elections. What the Biden resignation says to NATO (given Trump's rhetoric) their warmongering days are going to be hit severely. Trump will push for negotiations and Zelensky is in trouble as this news begins to spread. Does the end of Biden's Presidency imply a shift in foreign policies of the USA, I hope so because the world is changing and this is an opportune moment for them to revisit their policies. The bully-boy tactic has back fired dramatically and has started the march to multilateralism which in my view is irreversible. For the Democrats to be competitive in the 2024 Presidential race they need someone who has a record of being anti-war (Americans are tired of funding an endless war in Ukraine) and can demonstrate that he can offer a better America than Trump. It is tricky but they do have options: 1. If the Constitution permits (actually the USA has no presidential term limits but there has been the unwritten belief that 2 terms are enough)President Obama might stage a comeback and he is a formidable candidate and can give Trump a run for office. 2. Hillary Clinton can be allowed to square off with Trump (remember she won the popular vote by over 2 million votes but still lost) 3 Michell Obama is a favourite of many democrats but being decent as she is, she will be barraged by all kinds of negatives from the Trump campaign and that might not work out well for her The list is not inexhaustive but the stakes are high because this election will draw a firm line between the hard right and the left and immigration is central to this race. We continue to watch as events unfold

*UPDATE: President Biden has finally been seen in public- boarding Air Force 1 to return to the White House. Oval Office address to the nation scheduled for tomorrow night July 24. This is the weirdest sh!t I’ve ever witnessed. It’s now day 3 since President #Biden’s stunning announcement on X that he won’t seek #reelection, and a full week since his last public appearance. This decision, arguably the most consequential of his political career, has been shrouded in silence. The #President's own cabinet learned of his decision not from him directly, but through White House staff. Nearly a dozen events on his calendar have been canceled, including a critical meeting with Prime Minister #Netanyahu. Rumors are swirling at lightning speed, yet they could be dispelled with a simple public appearance from President #Biden. What’s truly going on here? #Congress must act immediately to subpoena all communications between the #SecretService, the #WhiteHouse, Biden’s staff, and the #Biden family. This must include preserving all relevant documents, especially #medicalrecords. #Americans deserve transparency. We need to know what’s happening with our #President. This is a perilous time, especially when foreign adversaries might believe #America is without a functioning #CommanderInChief.

It's symbolic. The man holding the position of what's commonly known as the leader of the free world is stumbling and falling. He does not remember his lines, which are prepared for him by his sponsors and the military industrial complex. His condition is similar to that of the USA as a whole. A Dollar, which still dominates as the currency of the world economy, is weak and inflation is its cancer. The huge public debt is like a tumor and no attempt is made to cure it. All across the world people are starting to realize that the Dollar is actually worth less and less. The USA's military apparatus is overfed and yet, it could not overthrow the Taliban regime in 20 years. The big danger is that the military, with the help of shame boys and girls like Stoltenberg, Von der Leyen, Zelensky and Netanyahu, will actually want to use its most feared weapons (nuclear bombs) just to cover up their failures. Tens of thousands or people die in the USA by gun violence, while tens of thousands others in USA's proxy wars die just for the sake of their failed leaders. Unfortunately it's not much better elsewhere: In Russia a crazy psychopath terrorizes his own people, murders his political opponents and wages wars to restore the Soviet Union, which was dissolved by his crazy predecessor Jetsin with the then presidents of Belarus and yes, Ukraine. In North Korea a dictator also terrorizes his people, while holding his finger on the nuclear red button. In India a prime minister is playing with fire by demonizing a part of India's population, which follows the same faith as the population of his neighbouring country, also having nukes. In Israel a criminal is surfing on a board with the word "Holocaust" on it but forgetting that the insurrection of the Palestinians could just as well be compared with the Ghetto of Warsaw uprising. In China a dictator suppresses its people and threatens to invade a war with a smaller Chinese nation. In France, London, Brussels and Berlin stupid politicians are blindly following the USA's directives, thereby causing economic downfall for the EU and British populations. And in the Arab world and in most African countries leaders are equally corrupt and enrich themselves on the back of their populations. Conclusion: it's necessary for all populations of this world to criticize first and foremost their own leadership and to tell them "Enough is enough. We do not want this dangerous sharade. Not in our name!"

Since President Biden decided to step down from the 2024 presidential race this past Sunday, making VP Kamala Harris the most likely Democratic Nominee, I have enjoyed learning more about VP Kamala Harris's policy proposals and views. In my article this week article I specifically explored how her presidency could shape the American business landscape and economy, and whether the US would shift more to the left, or somewhere entirely else.
