Grégoire will take on the role as Global Head of Public Affairs, Katherine as Europe Head of Public Affairs, James as Europe Head of Complex Communications Advisory, and Kieran as Co-Head of the Brussels office. My colleagues humbly noted that after getting to the top 5 projects in 2 categories of the most prestigious European communication contest European Excellence Awards we weren`t awarded. I won`t be as modest as my team and say a few words what has to be done to get into the top 5. The first project is "United by Freedom, Connected by Rakuten Viber" (Change Communications category). The campaign set an ambitious goal to help Ukrainians feel united with families and friends, to provide them with truthful and verified information, to make them feel as a part of Ukrainian family and to help overcome depression and maintain mental health. And even to support teachers contact their students. This project was reflected in more than 1,200 publications, of which about 22% were in Tier1 media, receiving about 11 million impressions through 6 million views of publications. All of this was done in tight cooperation with the Rakuten Viber team. Channels of authorities and officials, chats for refugees and those who need help reached more than 20 million people, and in-app content (10 sticker packs, 47 AR lenses and 1 advent calendar) were created, which added 2.5 million impressions and about 600 publications. In addition, we conducted several surveys of Ukrainians on urgent topics that worried everyone: blackouts, communication with relatives, online education, relocation, etc. News from these surveys added about 150 more publications to the box. We hit the Storytelling category with the project "100 Actions of Responsible Citizens" that we implemented with the Centre for Democracy and Rule of Law (CEDEM) . This project refers to me personally because it’s about responsibility. About understanding the concept of responsibility, responsible behavior and responsible actions. These are critical in Ukraine during the war. Within the framework of the project, we conducted a study on responsibility, determining that 90% of Ukrainians consider themselves responsible, and more than 30% commit responsible acts every day. We talked about the project "100 acts of responsible people." We drew attention to the concept of responsibility and what it really means. In partnership with 17 organizations and influencers and thanks to more than 50 publications in the media, among which 40% are tier 1 media, blogs and personal pages of many opinion leaders on social networks, we reached an audience of more than 27 million Ukrainians. These aren’t our first victories in this and other international communication competitions. Before the full scale war, in 2021 we won the European Excellence Awards for the best launch of the year for PlayStation 5. I am proud of the M&P Communications, which implements such projects, despite all the circumstances. This year - shortlist. And the next one we'll see.
