Absolutely, job hunting is incredibly challenging. It demands immense motivation, emotional resilience, and the ability to not take things too personally. However, I want to address the unprofessional and pretentious behavior of some company workers during this process. Being jobless is already tough for many, compounded by personal traumas and stress that create a mental hell. Sending out CVs and emails isn't easy for everyone, and it's disheartening to be met with silence or unprofessional responses. Company workers, it's crucial to learn how to respond to emails correctly. A simple "no" or "yes"- that’s all. It's not the end of the world; it's your job. Please, do it correctly. #mentalhealth #jobhunting #emotionalintelligence #cv #work #companyworkers #workethic

This is not a rant; it is guidance for anyone seeking work during very difficult times. As someone who has been at the other end of #jobhunting to where I currently am, I know how it can feel. So here's a little tip that I hope will help at least one person out there win through. On Origin's current job application form, we ask everyone two questions: 1. What's the most exciting deal you've ever closed? 2. Tell us something about yourself. If you want a shot, don't use those boxes to a) direct us to your resumé and 2) instruct us to schedule a call. I know how horrible, stressful and repetitive job hunting can be. I get it. I've been there. So here's my advice - if you don't have the energy or you're not in the right headspace that day or your too exhausted to think that perhaps those questions are there for a reason, then wait until you are. Hard and shitty challenges sometimes need hard and shitty truths.

How Not to Burn Out While Job Hunting? 🔍 Job hunting is more like a marathon than a sprint. Constant interviews, applications, and waiting for responses can lead to burnout. Here are a few tips on how to avoid fatigue and stay motivated: 1️⃣ Set a Clear Schedule. Don’t turn job hunting into a 24/7 activity. Create a schedule with dedicated time for applying to jobs, working on your resume, and preparing for interviews. 2️⃣ Take Breaks. Remember to take breaks. Step away for an hour or even a day if you feel burnout creeping in. This will help you conserve energy and maintain clarity. 3️⃣ Stay Physically Active. Exercise helps relieve stress. Even a short walk outdoors can improve your mood and recharge your energy. 4️⃣ Set Goals and Acknowledge Achievements. Set small daily goals, such as applying to three jobs or updating your resume. Celebrate these small victories to track your progress. 5️⃣ Get Support from Loved Ones. Surround yourself with people who support and inspire you. A conversation with a friend can boost your positivity and remind you that you’re on the right path. 🌟 Job hunting is a time of change, and it’s important to maintain a balance between activity and rest. Share your ways of avoiding burnout!
