This piece is interesting because a average kindergartener with comprehension of the sound and recognition of letters can actual write in this manner and be able to communicate for survival sakes. Teachers what are your thoughts?

We are all members of The Family of Man. All of us embody qualities such as kindness, joy, respect and love. Many people consciously and deliberately demonstrate these attributes. Others might not be aware of or consciously choose how they see themselves and how they connect with others in this vast family of mankind. No matter the level of consciousness, we all belong in this family. Is it possible to set aside fear, anger, self-centeredness, so as to peer beyond the veils of self-love, self-will and self-justification so to see the good within ourselves and within this grand family that is us? My answer is YES! It takes practice to make progress. We change from biased “assumers” into students; we become ceaseless learners. We come to understand that anger and accusations of “otherness” exhaust us. That understanding and listening refresh us and, further, open doors to hearts and minds the depths, breadths and heights of which confirm the uncommon goodness of this Family of Man to which we all belong.

The average person who goes to school, has no idea why humanity exists. He has no idea concerning a spiritual factor in material existence. He has no general comprehension of the rules of life as these differ from the rules of social and political structures. He does not know where he came from, he does not know why he is here, and he has no idea where he is going. And on this compound ignorance we offer degrees and make brilliant scholars of the people who have never answered any of those questions. It is one of these amazing things that we have created a great hierarchy of well-lettered ignorance. We have made everything subservient, not to wisdom, but to the passing advantages of the hour. We are in exactly this position politically today. https://lnkd.in/gcVCC3zS

The fundamental role of any teacher is to inspire the children in your care. It is not to prove how much you know, it is not to control the students and it is not to prove how good you are. These things and more will come to you if you can inspire the class. There will be no behavioural issues, you will succeed and you will climb the ladder of experience but you must inspire the children. With inspiration comes curiosity, those little eyes ignited with excitement. The need to understand and experience what the world has to offer. Research, reading, questioning and failing will all follow. If you inspire your class to learn, they will fly like birds. I Dore does not mean encourage. It means teaching from your heart about subjects you’re passionate about. Once you inspire you send a spark that can ignite 1000 fires. ‘Teach your children the ways of the world with love and care or the world will teach them without it.’ https://lnkd.in/gJdhF2jM 3edcuation #school #teacher #teaching #montessori
