Fissile fuel is a finite resource and will increase reduction and cost as industry grows to a point of no fuel source.
This has already been projected by the UN and was at time 250 years now with the projected growth of this to three times that it reduces to less than 80 yrs.
Costs of fuel to reprocess and raw are already growing in the fissile fuel market and the 39 countries with fission reactors are now securing their supply and restricting sale to others.

Pull your uranium heads out, start adjusting your industry to fusion energy and start preparing to enter the commercially growing fusion energy industry. As it dawns on Earth like the sun.

Fission is moving towards obsolescence at an accelerated pace, as it is "out of step, out of time, out of place," and merely a temporary industry globally.

Nuclear for Australia founder Will Shackel says it takes “very little” for a politician to put their hand up and support the ban on nuclear energy being lifted in Australia. Australia is the only G20 nation which prohibits the development of nuclear energy. “We should be able to have all energy options being considered in Australia – as every single other country around the world is able to,” Mr Shackel told Sky News host Steve Price. “We are out of step with the rest of the world. “If we want to have a pragmatic approach to our energy transition and be able to get to net zero, then the only way to do that is by – at the very least – considering the role for nuclear energy.”

While it is very exciting that some movement is finally happening with small modular nuclear reactors (SMRs), when I read this article, it begins to concern me that rural electric cooperatives & public power, who provide electricity to millions of residential electricity users, will be competing directly against the Googles, Amazons & Microsofts for a shrinking supply of available power supply resources. Economics 101: when there is short supply & increasing demand, prices go up. The big players have very deep pockets, mainly because they can shift those costs into what they charge for their products, fractions of cents at a time, and pass it on to buyers…those same people who will be paying more for electricity from their power supplier due to shrinking resource availability.
These are issues we must be addressing now before they become a bigger problem. Let’s be proactive instead of reactive. Let’s talk about the “taboo” topics & look for solutions that can work for everyone. A great mentor of mine told me recently “we must stop saying what won’t work, and we must look for solutions that will work.” I loved that advice! #ElectricCooperatives#NRECA#energy#publicpower#APPA

Presentation by James Voss, Managing Director, USNC Australia.
Australian Nuclear Association ANA2023 Conference, held Friday 6 October 2023 at the Aerial UTS Function Centre, Ultimo, NSW.
Introduced by Michelle Durant, Managing Director at The Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering - AINSE Limited.
USNC’s Micro Modular Reactor (MMR) is a 45 MWth or 15 MWe generating plant. It is a high temperature gas cooled reactor. Everything about the MMR has been designed for safety. Lessons learned from previous nuclear incidents – Three Mile Island, Chernobyl, Fukushima – have been fully integrated into the design to ensure safety.
Ongoing licensing in Canada and the United States for USNC’s first two projects have affirmed that the MMR can be deployed with zero set back distance. In Illinois, MMR is being developed for installation within the center of a university campus with over 50,000 students, faculty and staff circulating nearby. This is achievable because of the absence of credible events that can lead to the release of radioactive material from the MMR. The plants are “walk away safe” requiring no operator intervention or the availability of sophisticated external safety systems to assure performance.
