Request: I'm moving and want to replace my key with a dimple key. If possible, I want to use a #dimple key instead of a #geared key. Description of work: Replace “U9 PMK.CY” with “Hippoace 3249(SV)”. We will visit the customer and start with #site survey and estimate. The existing key is #U9 #PMK .CY, a jagged type from #MIWA, and the lock body is also #PMK from MIWA, so #replacement cylinders (keyholes) are available from various #manufacturers. The customer wanted a #dimple #key and one that could be replaced on the same day, so we showed him #Dormakaba's “#HippoAce 3249(SV)” and #WEST's “916” #cylinder from our #stock. As a result, #HippoAce” was selected and #cylinder replacement will be done. First, remove the #lever handle from the interior side and loosen the #screws that hold the #body lock in place and remove it from the door. Then, remove the screw holding the #cylinder (#keyhole) and replace it with the #Coverace, and put it back in the door following the original procedure.
