I specialize in building global health partnerships with policy makers and officials in public health organizations. The StrongBody.ai network welcomes all healthcare and pharmaceutical health experts.
Intersectoral collaboration in public health Intersectoral collaboration is a crucial factor to improve the effectiveness of public health programs. When experts from different fields such as health, social affairs, and environment collaborate, they can combine their knowledge, experience, and resources to thoroughly solve complex health problems. For example, in the effort to improve the nutritional status in rural areas, collaboration is needed between doctors, nutrition experts, scientists, and community organizations. Together, they can design programs to increase the production and consumption of nutritious foods, as well as educational programs on healthy diets. Similarly, in the fight against epidemics, collaboration between public health experts, regulatory authorities, security forces, and other organizations is essential. They can then develop effective strategies for early detection, surveillance, isolation, and control of outbreaks. Intersectoral collaboration not only draws on increased resources and strength, but also enables the development of more comprehensive and sustainable solutions to public health challenges. It is an indispensable trend in the management and implementation of modern health policies. #GlobalHealthNews #HealthcareTrends #InternationalHealthcare #HealthcarePartners #PublicHealthOrganizations #GlobalHealthCollaboration #strongbodyai #strongbody.ai

Please take some time to complete and further circulate World Health Organization One Health incentives survey. This is a critical piece of better understanding how we can build momentum around #onehealth by coupling it with the right incentives.
👀 ONE HEALTH INCENTIVES SURVEY 🚧 Despite the growing appreciation for the One Health concept and the acknowledgement of the benefits that its application can bring, turning theory into practice remains challenging. Even though there are often structural obstacles that prevent concrete action, we at WHO believe in the power of people and their will. So, we have designed a 7-minute, anonymous survey to understand what can motivate individuals, on a personal and profound level, to do One Health. Could you please answer the questionnaire and forward it to any One Health networks, stakeholders and professionals you know? Public health campaigns are essential in raising awareness about stroke and promoting timely intervention. However, their effectiveness can vary depending on region and population. In Qatar, where the population is highly diverse, the 'Act FAST' campaign has faced unique challenges in reaching its audience. Researchers found that, despite extensive efforts, only 16.5% of participants were aware of the campaign, raising concerns about its overall impact. This article explores the factors contributing to this low awareness, including language barriers, education levels, and access to media. For those involved in public health, policy-making, or healthcare delivery, understanding these dynamics is crucial. The lessons learned from Qatar's experience with the 'Act FAST' campaign could inform the development of more effective strategies in other regions with similar demographic challenges. The Public Health Agency of Canada is in the process of developing a vision for what public health assessment in Canada could look like by 2030. They need to hear from you to make sure that the vision is well informed by the perspectives of Indigenous Peoples and peoples of colour - so among others - there is a strong and consistent call for ethno-racial and other equity-defined disaggregated data - across all measures, indicators, and indices - to make all the many hidden inequities and disparities visible, to inform public health planning and interventions, as well as to focus and appropriately target any and all initiatives to address social/structural/systemic determinants of health.
