After the Sydney exhibition, we visited the construction site of 19 townhouses in Northwest. In less than a year, from foundation completion to turnkey sales, many workers found it unbelievable. Exciting news for Highland Heritage Woodworks as it announces a £250,000 investment to establish a state-of-the-art sawmill in the heart of the Dunecht Estate, Aberdeenshire. This ambitious firm, which provides sustainable timber to the construction industry and has almost doubled in size in the last 12 months, is planning to adapt its premises, install new equipment and create a customised sawmill. We've provided advice and support to help it expand into new areas with the addition of innovative new timber products and a bespoke cabin business. Chief Executive Officer of Highland Heritage Woodworks, Guy Phillips, said: “We started the company by combining my business development experience with that of my master carpenter co-founder and we have been very fortunate to receive support from various organisations along the way.
