In a sector filled with uncertainties and technology that evolves by the day, if not by the hour, let's draw insights from the Metaverse experience. It demonstrated that novel concepts could spur advancements in process improvement, training, and the minimization of physical production during the iterative design process. However, it's worth noting that after the launch of Oculus SDK1, the first head-mounted display (HMD), it took years to set the new extended reality (XR) trend in motion. Generative AI is currently at a similar juncture, with many uncertainties about its definition and future direction.
