Hey #linkedinfamily , Lets embark on a shared journey of learning and mutual growth Today's Topic: What is SAP UI5 & Fiori? User Experience has evolved considerably over the last decade, and it’s still a growing field. After using popular consumer apps on mobile devices, enterprise users also want to have the same flavor while they’re at work. Whenever we try to deploy anything new, the most common suggestions we hear are “keep it simple” and “don’t make me think.” With the launch of SAP Fiori, UX is being redefined. The new simplified look and feel of SAP Fiori apps is intended to make users more engaged and their work less time-consuming. SAP Fiori not only makes life easy and simple for business users, but also benefits developers as well. With the help of a set of new tools and templates, SAP Fiori empowers developers to create or enhance apps from any idea and for any platform much quicker—providing a consistent, unified, and innovative experience to meet market demand. However, SAP has been leading the charge in changing this perception with its UI5 framework and Fiori design principles. These tools have revolutionized the way users interact with SAP applications, making them more intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing. SAP Fiori is a design system and user experience (UX) framework developed by SAP, the German multinational software corporation. Fiori is aimed at providing a consistent and intuitive user experience across SAP software applications, making them easier to use and more productive for end-users. At its core, SAP Fiori is a set of design principles, patterns, and guidelines that help developers create modern, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces for SAP applications. These guidelines cover various aspects of design, including layout, navigation, visual design, and interaction patterns. conclusion , SAP UI5 Fiori came into the usage to replace the legacy UI of SAP GUI in 2013. #sap #sapui5 #sapui5fiori #sapbtp #sapodata #sapfiori #fiori #ui5 #odata #javascript #sapjobsindia #saplearning #ui5fiori #sapdata #sapconsultant #sapfioriconsultant

Almost every task that a SaaS software user has to complete involves interacting with several tools at once. In fact, on average, clients of B2B products access about eight different tools during the day. They get used to switching between browser tabs, sometimes even without thinking of it. To enhance this experience and attract more clients to their products, SaaS companies invest in building integrations. However, from our experience as a UI/UX design agency for SaaS, we can state that integration design that would add maximum value to your users’ experience and meet their end goals requires a lot of planning and thorough research before moving to the technical implementation. That’s a challenging process, even for experienced designers. To help you deal with this complex task, in this article, we will share with you a step-by-step plan on how to design integration. #eleken #eleken_blog

Transactions are widely used, also in S/4HANA systems. Transaction codes can be hard to remember, but the OK field comes with an assisted input help: start typing and it shows a list of matching transaction codes. Search, select, and start the transaction. In case the code includes a namespace (e.g. /UI5/), this does not work: you get an error as / is considered an escape character. You need to add /n manually. Dear SAP: why not add /n to automatically transaction codes with a namespace when selected from the search result list? Why not make it runable by default? Why does the user need to add every time a /n or /o? If you're currently running an older version of S/4HANA, like 1809, 1909, 2020 or 2021, you should definitely read this. There is lots of business value in the later releases.

I don't think AEM Edge Delivery Services going to replace AEM Sites. I believe they can actually be a powerful team, each of them addressing different needs. It's easy to use a common styling system across both for a seamless visitor experience, making them feel like they are visiting one website, not two. The challenge is to connect AEM, Edge Delivery, and other systems for a unified experience. This goes beyond just look and feel, but also includes data. Here's where things get tricky: - 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵: Content needs to be searchable regardless of source (JCR or Documents). - 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗽: All pages from all systems should be included. - 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮-𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Edge Delivery and AEM should be able to use components that rely on the same data (e.g., product information or recommendations). StreamX comes with the Unified Data Layer. This layer uses real-time data from Documents, AEM, legacy systems, and more. It acts as a single source of truth for all channels, ensuring a consistent customer experience. This avoids loading all data into the CMS and creating costly, unscalable custom integrations. There is a bonus: You'll end up with clean, modular architecture that adapts to future needs. Imagine reusing the same data for your mobile app!
