It's not an ethical or moral issue – it’s a legal one, and speed limits are the law because it saves lives. #RoadSafetyWeek 2023, organised by Brake, the road safety charity, aims to raise awareness of the dangers of excess or inappropriate speed. Every year we help hundreds, if not thousands of people, affected by road traffic collisions – many where speed was a factor – so we know road safety matters. We’re all busy. We all have places to be. But we all deserve to travel, and get back to our families, safely. #RoadSafetyMatters

3 years ago I could barely run 5km at parkrun. Now in just 3 weeks time I will be taking on my biggest ever challenge and running 50km at the Glen Ogle 33 Ultra Marathon! Starting in Killin I'll be running to Strathyre over the Glen Ogle Viaduct... and yes there are going to be MANY hills! To keep me going, I am raising money for an incredible local charity, The Yard. This is the Digby Brown Solicitors Edinburgh office charity which they are supporting throughout the year. The charity are a haven for disabled children, young people and their families. Digby Brown will also match all donations so I'm trying to raise as much as I can for this wonderful charity.
