Another quarterly marketing strategy completed! One thing I've learned about working with the brokers at Broderick Group is that it's easier to get them on board with my marketing ideas when I approach them with initial results (they love a good bar graph!) So at the end of each quarter, I organize a marketing strategy presentation that shares the last quarter's results, the current strategy, and goals for the upcoming quarter. It's one of my favorite things to work on since I always learn something, either about what we're doing right, or what we need to work on. Working with someone who's super passionate about what they do makes marketing so much easier! When you team up with someone who can’t stop talking about how much they love their business or its mission, it’s way easier to connect with people. That genuine enthusiasm shines through and makes the marketing feel real and relatable. Sure, aiming for sales is fine, but when there's that extra spark of passion, creating a campaign that truly resonates with people is a breeze.

Last week, I co-facilitated a Transformative Marketing workshop with Pat O'Donnell for one of our opcos, Radiometer. I enjoyed sharing my love for campaign development with this great group of marketers! My takeaways: 💻 Facilitating a workshop virtually while the team you’re working with is in-person makes it tough to gage engagement and pace. Frequent check-ins are necessary to ensure you’re providing the support and guidance needed. ✅ Real world examples for each step in the process is beneficial for the team to understand what start to finish looks like and helps them bridge everything together. ⌛️ In order to get the outcome you want, it takes time. Be patient and don’t rush through steps just to get to the finish line. I can’t wait to see all the MQLs -> SQLs they generate that will lead to increased company revenue through their marketing function!
