15 years…it still surprises me I can remember something so long ago…with me being only in my late 20’s…😏 I don’t imagine that when I set out all those years ago to create a service that catered for the many students (& young workers like myself!) who wanted to head off Interrailing, that I would find myself & Interrailingpackages in the position it is today. Whilst we have very much pivoted our services since the outset (and continue to do so today) it’s mad to think that such a simple idea would be the start of a much longer *rail* life journey for myself… (sorry I couldn’t help myself). Interrailingpackages was set up on the back of an Economic crash, before Facebook & Instagram were used as promotional tools and at a time when Google Ad Words and analytics were so easy to use, that even a simpleton like myself was able to set them up, run them and manage them! (aaahhhhhh….those were the days😌) Back in the days when SEO sounded like short hand for something rude, when Man Utd were winning Champions Leagues and AI’s main advancement was on speech recognition…(was Snickers still Marathon?) Who would have thought back then that our products and services would take us to Markets, tradeshows and business meet-ups in New York, Philadelphia, Jakarta (what?), Bangkok, Singapore (seriously…what?) and of course more “locally” here in Netherlands & Italy. After starting out with 32 UK based customers in our first year – our 40th and 41st clients for 2025 – were from Hawaii. We have clients from literally all 4 corners of the earth- something we are extremely proud of and grateful for. Who would have thought we would overcome the hurdles of Brexit, only to be faced with (& get over) the even bigger challenges of Covid. Not in a million years. Each and every day is a challenge, some days you bounce into your office full of the joys and motivation, some not so much. But the good days have always far outweighed the tough days. The positive relations gained have always been way more than any we’ve lost. But most of all, I have always been very lucky to be surrounded by my wife, my family & of course my colleagues past and present, who have helped and supported me in every way they could and helped bring Interrailingpackages Ltd to where it is today. I will be 50, by the time we are 25 years in business. I will probably be a little greyer, definitely grumpier but (if I’m spared as my mother would say!) hopefully happy, healthy and much the better from 10 more years surrounded by my family & colleagues. Now that’s something to look forward to. A huge shout out to our clients past and present and to all those we’ve collaborated with and worked with along the way. And finally – a big shout out to my family & team here at Interrailingpackages. Looking forward to (at least) 4 more years…. Mine that is…not the other dude in Washington! 😊 Lisa Maguire Natasha Bunting Ayeisha Lavery 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 #interrailingpackages #travel #15years

I’m back! Those who regularly read my posts (hit the 🔔 on my profile so you don’t miss them) might have noticed my absence last week - I was off on an adventure with my little crew And I completely switched off - I didn’t do any work or check a single email and that’s how it should be For me anyway I NEEDED the break after a tough start to the year And we had a lovely family week and a wonderful time in sunny Malta It’s taken time for me to switch off when I’m on leave but it’s super important, so I plan ahead meaning I can take a complete break I feel refreshed and I’ve been able to get straight back into it for the start of Q2 🩷 Starting to get up to speed with a new client and their business 💙 Developing new business opportunities for another client 🩷 Handing over the outcomes of completed projects for a client so they can adopt the organisational learning and complete the actions for day to day improvements 💙 Following up on conversations I had before my leave with new potential clients 🩷 Getting back on top of my inboxes and making lists by client of everything I need to do 💙 Starting work on writing new processes for a client After a hard Q1 the rest of this calendar year is really starting to take shape for me and my business How is 2024 shaping up for you? #BusinessOwner #GrowthStrategy #Planning #OperationsDirector

🌅 The Morning Wave: After a few hours of talks and a cup of tea, we took a break and snapped this picture. 😊 Just a smile, two seconds—that's all it takes. 📈 More than Checking Boxes: Visiting our distributor isn’t just about checking boxes; it’s about building a deeper understanding of their operations, culture, and potential challenges that often go unnoticed in remote interactions. These visits are essential for identifying and nurturing opportunities for growth and collaboration. 🤝 Give and Take: A business trip is more than travel—it’s about bringing questions and answers to the table, gathering insights, and aligning on shared goals. This is how we ensure everyone moves forward together, with purpose and clarity. 💼 Creating a Friendly Atmosphere: Incorporating a friendly atmosphere into business meetings isn’t just about comfort; it’s about fostering collaboration, creativity, and engagement—all while respecting each other’s roles and responsibilities. Surely not only in Asia. 🏋️♂️ Final Take: The Sports Facility Having a sports facility in the workspace is a great idea. It’s not just about fitness; it’s a way to unwind, recharge, and keep our minds sharp. 🚀 Moving Forward: Step by step, we keep pushing ahead—embracing every opportunity and tackling each challenge along the way. Here’s to progress, collaboration, and the journey that drives us all forward! #dulevofayat #fayatgroup #networking #export #exportgrowth #sales

A younger than me Mentor changed my way of thinking after decades of working with India’s topmost event agencies. When you work day in and day out in an agency, it is natural to develop along with a sense of pride and security, an attachment which actually is the source of misery as you turn older in the agency. You need to have commitment not attachment for a win - win situation for you and the agency. Adhere and deliver your KRA, go a step ahead and be proactive and take on additional responsibilities if you can deliver them. This is commitment. You get paid for your services, so when you are at work, think with your head, never with your heart; emotions do not pay !! Trust is a valuable element, avoid sharing extremely personal details of you, your family, your ambition, your work, your pay… Not everyone who claims to be your friend in the office is your friend. It is said ; if you want to destroy someone, become his friend. Once you become his friend all his defenses come down, you know all his weaknesses, and then you can select the worst of the lot to ensure his downfall. At the end each one to himself, there is an element of selfishness in each of us which do not forget. Ensure your commitment towards your work and remember to leave your attachment at the entrance of the office, you can collect it back on your way home. Cheers…

2024 has been a very special year 💙 Today, I’m heading off for Christmas vacation, and this year I’ll spend most of it in Mexico ☀️🇲🇽🌮 I’m looking forward to recharging, but first, I want to take a moment to reflect on the past year. It has been all about building the foundation to take Candeno to the next level on this “new” journey we’ve just begun. In just a few months, 💡 Frederik Stenberg Pedersen, Mads Blom, and I will have been working full-time on this project for five years – and it has been an amazing ride. We spent Q1 finding our new CTO. Frederik had decided to step down from the role, which I think is brave and inspiring – a great example of modern leadership and founder mentality. Anders Bille Tvedt joined as our new CTO, became a co-owner, and it’s been great for the business. Plus, two great colleagues - Vlada Axelsen and Christian Wager Andersen - invested their own money to buy shares in the company. How cool is that? 😎 🚀 In Denmark, our home market has been impacted by political factors. This is reflected in our growth, which was a bit lower on the top line this year📈 In April, we made our first hire in Norway (Jacob Bruun), and by the end of the year, we’ll have more Norwegian municipalities as customers than we had in Denmark after our first year here 🇳🇴 A big part of the year was spent analyzing the Swedish market to figure out our entry strategy. Unlike Norway, we hired earlier, which was the right move. This means we’ll start with a strong base of new customers when the first ones go live in just a few weeks. Great job Pål Svendsen 🇸🇪 Most importantly, I’m proud that we’ve once again raised the bar for how many job seekers we can help. This year, we’ve helped over 120.000 users on Candeno, including 100.000 new unique users. On top of that, we’ve onboarded more than 100 companies per month on average – all without compromising on service. Our user satisfaction score remains high at 4.5 out of 5. I’d like to wish all colleagues, partners, customers, and everyone in my network a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎅🎄🎉

We discuss strategies to handle the objection of a client claiming they need to travel and will contact you later, which is often a lie. The key is to raise your status by presenting yourself as in-demand and having limited availability, which flips the script and makes the client chase you instead of the other way around. #SalesStrategy #ObjectionHandling #StatusRaising #Scarcity #FitnessIndustry

🌟 The Unexpected Power of Conversation 🌟 I recently had an experience that truly highlighted the power of communication and connection. After a busy day at work, I booked a Rapido ride home. When the rider arrived, we quickly sorted out the destination and then started chatting about our occupations. To our surprise, we discovered that we both worked in marketing. Our conversation quickly evolved into a deep discussion about career paths, industry trends, and job opportunities. We exchanged insights on effective marketing strategies, shared networking tips, and reflected on the highs and lows of our profession. The dialogue was so engaging that time flew by, and before I knew it, we had reached my destination. When I asked for the QR code to make the payment, the rider did something unexpected—he refused to accept any money. Despite my repeated offers, he simply smiled and said, "It's not every day you meet someone who shares your passion. This ride is on me." I was genuinely amazed by his generosity. Here was someone who drives for Rapido to earn a living, yet he chose to forgo payment because of the connection we made through our conversation. This experience underscored for me how important it is to engage genuinely with others. Building connections through meaningful dialogue can lead to unexpected friendships and valuable insights that enhance both our personal and professional lives. In a fast-paced world, it's easy to overlook the power of a simple conversation. But life is short, and making new friends and connections every day can be incredibly enriching. This experience reminded me that effective communication can open many doors and create lasting impressions. #Networking #Marketing #Communication #CareerGrowth #LifeLessons #Kindness

Something’s standing in the way of mine & yours’ fulfilment 🤠 The “glass half empty” mentality Let’s use myself as an example If I were to think in a “glass half empty” mindset, I’d say: 👉 My illustrated blog only has 21 subscribers = what’s even the point? 👉 I’m working in fashion retail again instead of marketing = a step backwards 👉 I left my friends, family & everything else in the UK to move to New Zealand = lonely 👉 I’m living in a house share now instead of a private flat = downgrade 👉 My laptop is old and showing the black lines of impending death = gonna be SO expensive to fix Doesn’t sound too fun, does it? Let’s switch it to a “glass half full” mentality instead: ✨ 21 people subscribed to MY content organically = imagine 21 people coming up to you IRL to say they love your work? ✨ I’ve moved myself all the way to New Zealand after 8 months backpacking SE Asia with zero help from my family = I should be pretty proud ✨ I’ve gotten a job in a country in a recession as an expat, which has actually gained me some head office work = against the odds ✨ Friends & family will always be there for me, and I’ve made amazing new friends in NZ too = lucky AF ✨ Living with housemates & sharing amenities = community vibes ✨ I’m ridiculous lucky to complain about things as mundane as a laptop = privilege check? See the difference? Focusing on the former will train my brain to think negatively Whereas the latter acknowledges privilege and shows gratitude Don’t get me wrong I love a bitch and moan But semantics are more powerful than we realise Are you more of a glass half full, or glass half empty kinda person? 👇 #fulfilment #gratitude #career

💡 The Price of Water: A Lesson in Self-Worth 💧 Same water. Same bottle. The environment is what changes the price. 🌊 If you feel undervalued - at work or in your business - it's not always about your skills. 🤔 It's about where you're showing up. 📍 Think about it: when you're at a high-end restaurant, you expect to pay more for your meal. And when you're at a luxury hotel, you're willing to pay a premium for the amenities and service. 🏨 But what about your own worth? Are you selling yourself short? 🤔 So, how can you change that? 🤝 👉 If you're an employee: ✨ Up-skill and invest in yourself. Take courses, attend workshops, and read books to improve your skills and knowledge. 📚 ✨ Network and build meaningful connections. Attend industry events, join online communities, and connect with people in your field. 🤝 ✨ Find the right place that pays your worth. Research companies, salaries, and benefits to find a job that aligns with your value. 💼 👉 If you own a business: ✨ Sell to people who value what you offer. Identify your ideal client and create marketing messages that speak to their needs and desires. 🎯 ✨ Change your packaging, positioning, and price. Update your branding, website, and marketing materials to reflect your value. 📈 ✨ Present yourself with confidence and authenticity. Develop a strong personal brand and communicate your value clearly and consistently. 💁♀️ Here's a real-life example: Think of a freelancer who was charging $20/hour, but after rebranding and targeting high-end clients, they started charging $100/hour! 🤯 Their skills didn't change, but their environment and perception did. 🌈 💪 You hold the keys to your value. Stop settling for 50 cents when you're worth $15! 💸 👇 Tell me in the comments: what change can you make today to increase your value? 💬 ♻️🤝 Share this to help others recognize their value. 🌟 👉 Follow me for actionable daily tips and insights to help you grow and succeed! 💡 #SelfWorth #Value #Business #IamSanaNaseer #SanaNaseer #Sana #Career #Motivation #Inspiration #Empowerment
