𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗'𝗦 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗛𝗔𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗔𝗬 Do you know that your child's first teacher is YOU? A child is first exposed to informal education from the parents at home. As a child's first teacher, parents have the role to be involved in their child's learning processes not, leaving the teaching to the school or teacher alone. One way you can do this is through the use of 'drawings' to make your teaching have a lasting impression on your child(ren). Children love what they can see. When you give them what they can see as knowledge, they retain it faster compared to what they are being told or what they hear. The eyes are the greatest camera of the brain and can receive information quickly. It sends a message to the brain to process the information captured. Don't underestimate it. Make use of it. When you start teaching your child(ren) at home, make complex topics easy with pictures, drawings, charts, and graphs. I do this often for my daughter and it helps a lot. I have to learn how to draw things because it's better for them. I know you may say, 'I don't know how to draw'. But just start somewhere. Start with your drawings and in time, you will better at it. Check online and mimic some drawings and gradually, you see yourself being perfect at it. Today, was strictly on animals you know. Rate my drawing. So, your child's teacher says, 'Your child will be exposed to learning and find joy in it so easily because of the method you use for them to read, write, listen and speak'. I love to see your child grow to become the best version of themselves.

#seriesonlearningexperiences PERSONALISED APPROACHES FOR UNIQUE NEEDS. Every child is unique and responds differently to the same information. I remember two children with similar conditions; one learned best through visual aids, while the other thrived on hands-on activities. Tailoring our approach made all the difference. For instance, (Dominion) excelled when we used flashcards and drawings. He loved the visual stimulation and could easily grasp concepts through pictures. On the other hand, (Emeka) needed physical objects to manipulate and explore. He learned best through touch and movement. Understanding their unique needs and adapting our methods has been crucial. It’s about being flexible and observant, ready to switch gears if something isn’t working. It’s about finding that spark of interest and building on it. How do you personalise your teaching methods to fit individual needs? Share your strategies and let’s learn from each other. #individualneeds #inclusive #inclusiveeducation #specialneeds #theengracedteacher
