CEO @ NOMADX | Transforming Digital Nomadism & Talent attraction strategies with governments innovative institutions
Wizz Air announced an "All You Can Fly" subscription, is this a new trend on the traveling industry? As we speak about coliving subscription and other key services like plumbing going into the subscription model, Wizz Air launched the All You Can Fly subscription, bringing back this model to the aviation sector. What do you get? - One Time yearly payment for the pass - Entires international Wizz network (780 routes) - 3 day booking window - 499 euros - Early bird While this subscription still has some limitations like only being able to book 72h in advance, payment of a basic fee and/or luggage if you have it, this is good news to frequent flyers with flexibility of dates and... Digital nomads :) Routes include the Greek Islands, Portugal. Spanish islands and many other paradise destinations where it's amazing to travel during the low season. Will this become a wide trend in the airline industry? Should we have the same for trains in Europe? Like a yearly interrail ticket? Or maybe Flix should do it for their ecosystem... What are your thoughs? #travel #tourism #digitalnomad #wizzair

Forget about a Pret or Odeon limitless subscription, would you sign up to unlimited flights? Who would have ever thought that we would see subscription models being introduced in the airline sector 🤯 But look no further! Wizz Air's latest offer of an “all you can fly” annual pass is turning heads (at least our admins) and for a good reason. This could be a game changer in the airline industry, making frequent travel more accessible than ever before. For frequent travellers, business folk, digital nomads or anyone with a love for spontaneous adventures, this deal opens up a world of possibilities. But of course like any deal, there’s the small print. Conditions include things like booking at least three days in advance or limited seat availability but the concept in itself of unlimited flights is something the travel sector hasn’t seen much of before. It definitely challenges the traditional airline model and could set a new trend in how we think about travel. An exciting step forward, or a disastrous step towards further wasted emissions? We for one are curious to see how this plays out. #AirlineIndustry #WizzAir #UnlimitedFlights #SubscriptionModel #DigitalNomads #BusinessTravel #TravelInnovation #AviationNews #TravelBusiness #GreenTravel #TravelCommunity

Wizz Air’s new "all you can fly" scheme certainly taps into the appeal of affordable and flexible travel—I get it, the idea is enticing ✈️. But it’s crucial that we also consider the broader implications of promoting unlimited air travel 🌍. As we explore new ways to innovate in the travel industry, we must balance economic benefits and convenience with environmental consciousness 🌱. Are we (individually and collectively) making choices that align with the urgent need for a more sustainable future? #Sustainability #Aviation #ClimateChange #ResponsibleTravel #CorporateResponsibility #EnvironmentalImpact https://lnkd.in/ePSzEDrn

ALL YOU CAN FLY by Wizz Air - what are your thoughts? Wizz Air just recently rolled out an "ALL YOU CAN FLY" subscription. What's the catch? - you can only book 72 hours in advance - there is a flat fee of 9.99 per flight - luggage is not included - all-you-can-fly seats are limited and not guaranteed My take on it - if you love booking last minute and traveling light - it might be very worth it if Wizz Air destinatons are on your map Me personally - I prefer to have a little-longer-term planning of my travel adventures and not limited to European destinations What are your thoughts on the subject? #wizzair #frequenttravel #digitalnomad

Wizz Air Introduces "All You Can Fly" Subscription, But What Are The Pros and Cons? ✈️ Big waves are hitting the airline scene with some exciting news that’s making a splash: Wizz Air is launching an "all you can fly" subscription—Europe’s first of its kind! For just €599/£515 a year, you can hop on as many flights as you like for about £9 each. But hold your passports, because this unlimited flight pass comes with a few catches... You can only book last-minute trips within 72 hours, flights are subject to availability, and you’re limited to just one personal item for luggage. Honestly, I think the downsides outweigh the perks. With travel already being a bit of a whirlwind in 2024, I’d prefer to have flexibility over limited options. I want to be at the front of the line, not the back 🙃 In a coconut shell, it really boils down to personal choice and budget. If you think you can ride the wave of this offer and it fits your travel style, then it could be a great deal compared to regular fares. For me, though, it’s a no-go since it’s not available at my local airports (Bournemouth and London Heathrow). Nice try, Wizz Air—love the creative energy! 🌊✈️ It's good, however, to keep the conversations flowing on social media and share the pros and cons before Wizzing away. 🚀 Wizz Air's All-You-Can-Fly Subscription: A New Take on Last-Minute Travel? ✈️ Wizz Air has just launched an innovative "All You Can Fly" subscription, offering unlimited travel on its flights for an entire year. The catch? You only pay €9.90 per ticket, with a key condition: bookings must be made within 72 hours of departure. This model instantly reminded me of the early 2000s' last-minute travel craze, a trend that initially thrived by allowing travelers to scoop up unsold seats at the last minute. However, as more people began to wait for these deals, the surplus of unsold tickets grew, and the model became unsustainable. The industry responded by shifting to the opposite strategy: book early to save. Today, at ConetPass, we've observed a significant rise in travel decisions made within 72 hours of departure. Wizz Air's model appears to embrace this last-minute spontaneity, yet with a twist—an annual subscription that incentivizes a loyal base of frequent, flexible travelers. Could this be the perfect middle ground? By building a community of last-minute travelers who are both quantifiable and qualifiable, Wizz Air might finally create a sustainable model that covers unsold inventory without exacerbating the issue. This could be a win-win for airlines, destinations and passengers alike ? Giacomo Biraghi Josep Ejarque Antonio N.
