Are you excited about Ansys SimAI? This tool is going to change the way we run simulations and the time it takes to analyze, predict, design and bring products to market. We are incredibly excited about this launch and to witness how this will redefine the product design process. What is It? Ansys SimAI is a physics-agnostic, software as a service (SaaS) application that combines the predictive accuracy of Ansys simulation with the speed of generative AI. Customers can train the AI using previously generated Ansys or non-Ansys data. Where can I learn more? 💦 Here comes literally the biggest #CFD splash for me in 2024 so far! https://lnkd.in/e45YwjXh A bit more than 2 years ago Siemens acquired Nextflow Software, a French startup that developed a Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) CFD code. This move added some cutting edge mesh-free CFD technology to our portfolio! Great news per se, but it also added another code base for our development teams to evolve and another CFD tool for you, our users, to learn and administrate. And so, in the CFD community "To mesh or not to mesh" has always been an a priori decision which code to go for; a classical finite volume (FV) based CFD tool or an SPH code? If you wanted or needed both likelihood was high that you had to live with two CFD codes. But - not anymore! Because not just did we add another piece of code into our portfolio, we also integrated a bunch of very smart people with deep SPH experience to our development team. And so the natural move was to merge the SPH experts with our outstanding "mainstream" CFD team and to integrate SPH technology into our flagship multiphysics CFD code. And boom - with this single move - you will benefit from all the outstanding capabilities that Simcenter STAR-CCM+ offers as a platform: strong CAD handling, end-to-end workflow automation, embedded Design exploration, excellent scalability and powerful postprocessing. For both FV and SPH! And so while Hamlet never came to a conclusive answer whether it's better to be or not to be, after February 28, there will be a very simple answer to the fundamental CFD question "To mesh or not to mesh": 💦 Simcenter STAR-CCM+ 2402 and you'll have it all! Admittedly, it is only just the beginning, but this first step lays the groundwork for huge things to come. Learn more about what this first release of SPH in Simcenter STAR-CCM+ holds for you: 💦 https://lnkd.in/e45YwjXh #cfd #aerodynamics #cae #mechanicalengineering #simulation #sph Siemens -> Siemens Digital Industries Software - -> Simcenter
