Open RAN, or Open Radio Access Network, is a revolutionary approach to building mobile networks that allows for greater flexibility and interoperability between different vendors' equipment. One key component of Open RAN is the O1 interface, which plays a crucial role in enabling communication between different network elements. The O1 interface is responsible for exchanging control plane messages between the RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC) and the gNB (Next Generation NodeB).
