Video for business on a budget? I carried out a little experiment yesterday at this great masterclass and networking event hosted by The Business Hive - E-Factor's Club. A little fun was had with 🙋🏼♀️ Jose's latest piece of business equipment, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. It was the first time I'd used it and I was impressed how quick and easy it was to pick up, being so portable, inconspicuous. I didn't both with any complications such as LOG colour profiling or manual settings. This was the result after a bit of clip culling and basic editing. Not bad for the time it took to put together. It did a great job at capturing some highlights and the friendly colaborative atmosphere at the event. It just goes to show that it's true what they say, 'it's not what you've got but what you do with it that counts!' This conference hosted a final section with 10 rapid-fire pitches. I noticed a few things that landed well IMO: - Short and sweet works. The pitch is informative, but over before you know it, in a good way. You can always talk after to learn more. - Have the background of your final slide be a beautiful picture. The one I saw was a nice landscape. This kinda makes you (as the audience) want the slide/presenter not to end cause the picture is so nice. - Videos grab everyone's attention (especially if you can get the sound to work). - Start and finish your deck with contact info. #PitchYourBusiness #PresentationPointers #WaltertheVault
