Where departments do not communicate or align, affecting SEOs across teams. 👉 Silvia Martin highlighted low budget, as many companies prioritize PPC over SEO and leave SEO underfunded. 👉 Arnout Hellemans mentioned the difficulty in securing buy-in from C-level executives. 👉Bibi the Link Builder warned against the obsession with scaling SEO tactics to the point that everyone copies them. 👉Steve Paine observed that while big sites still dominate, smaller publishers are regaining traction. 🧐 What trends are being observed in industry updates? 👉 Aleyda Solís noted that many websites, especially those relying on affiliate marketing, are being corrected in rankings when they fail to meet user intent. 👉 Silvia Martin shared that B2B clients have been less impacted by algorithm updates than sectors like travel. 🧐 How is AI overview affecting SEO? 👉 AI overviews blend commercial and informational content, which may disrupt rankings for e-commerce and informational sites. 👉 Feature snippets have decreased, while AI overviews are increasing, but they often repeat content, leading to inconsistent user experiences. 👉 There is a delay in loading AI overviews, meaning users may scroll past them before they fully load. 🧐 What are the future predictions for SEO and AI? 👉 AI overviews are expected to have a bigger impact by 2025, potentially disrupting search results and continuing to influence SEO strategies. 👉 Stop using AI-generated content, as it damages user trust. 👉Some panelists discussed that AI overviews currently represent a reputational risk for brands, with many clients indecisive about investing in them.
