. Day 9 of my 14-day UX Design challenge: Online Learning Platform Today, I designed a Course Overview page for an online learning platform. This page aims to provide learners with a clear understanding of the course content, instructor expertise, and learning outcomes. My design includes: - Course Title and Description - Instructor Bio and Profile Picture - Lessons List with Descriptions and Durations - Clear Calls-to-Action (CTAs) for Enrollment and Course Preview By presenting this information in a concise and visually appealing manner, learners can make informed decisions about their course selection and get excited about their learning journey. What are your thoughts on designing online learning platforms? How can we create engaging and user-friendly experiences for learners? #UXDesign #OnlineLearning #CourseOverview #DesignChallenge #Elearning #UserExperience" UX Design Comrades

A SCARY forecast on #elearning #uxdesign (ok, this is a pitch of our expertise at Oxagile) ----- So, ask yourself: Does your eLearning platform ensure the best possible UX experience for learners in their educational journey? Otherwise, if you keep ignoring UX improvements, here is the SCARY forecast! Let’s consider what this may lead to: ❌ Decreased learner engagement: Poor UX may lead to disengagement from learners. If navigating the platform is confusing, learners may lose interest in lessons and exercises and discontinue their educational process. ❌ Lower learner satisfaction rates: Without an optimal UX, learners may struggle to retain information and engage with course materials effectively. This could result in lower completion rates and decreased overall satisfaction with the learning experience. ❌ Reduced learning outcomes: A lack of user-friendly features and intuitive design may hinder the ability of learners to achieve their learning objectives. If learners encounter obstacles in accessing educational materials or navigating the platform, they may not fully reach the intended educational outcomes. ❌ Lost opportunities for learner base growth: In a competitive eLearning landscape, prioritizing UX is essential for attracting and retaining learners. Failure to deliver a seamless and enjoyable learning experience may result in missed opportunities for growth and expansion of an EdTech project. Still not convinced to secure budget for #uxdesign ? Then you're insanely bold, and we want to see or hear you 😍

Senior Product Designer ✨ 6+ years designing Fintech and E-grocery 🚀 Strategic thinker ♟️ Problem solver 🧩
Belated post 😉 In March 2024, I was a speaker at offline workshop for the Everset Academy. The topic of the presentation was an introduction to design systems for beginner UX/UI designers. I tried my best to explain what a design system is and why it is needed. We also conducted practical sessions with tasks on assembling components. My goal was to demonstrate the importance of correctly assembling components, so this will speed up the designer's work in the future. It was a valuable and interesting experience for me. Speaking to an engaged audience brings a lot of positive emotions and motivates me to work even harder. 🚀 #ProductDesign #UXDesign #UIDesign #DesignSystems #Figma #DesignThinking #UserExperience #Workshop #Mentorship #ContinuousLearning #CreativeProcess #DesignCommunity #DesignEducation #SeniorProductDesigner #ProfessionalDevelopment

Learning Experience Designer (LXD) 🦩 | eLearning Designer & Developer 👾| Enabling companies to design great learning experiences 🎯
I'm always on the lookout for ways to bring good visual design and UX trends, into the eLearning world. Lately, I've been fascinated by the concept of 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐬. What are bento grids, you ask❓ Imagine a delicious bento box – compartments neatly organised with different foods. Now, translate that to your eLearning menu! Bento grids offer a ton of benefits: 🫧𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜: These grids are perfect for splitting complex content into bite-sized, digestible chunks – ideal for microlearning! 🫧𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐮𝐞𝐬: By using different sized grids, you can visually represent the length of each learning asset. A quick glance tells learners exactly what they're getting into. 🫧𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰: Think of it as a visual course map 🗺️ With everything laid out in a clear, organised way, learners get a sense of the entire course at a glance. But the benefits don't stop there! Bento grids can also: 🫧 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Learners can quickly scan the grid to find the specific topic they're interested in. 🫧 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: The clear organisation and visual appeal make the course feel more approachable and engaging. 🫧 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲: Bento grids provide a consistent visual framework throughout the course. #eLearningDevelopment #InstructionalDesign #VisualDesign #Microlearning #BentoGrids #CreativeLearning
