I traveled to Addis Ababa this week for our first ever CommCare Government Summit: Scaling Digital Health in Africa. It’s been an honor to reconnect with incredible partners who share my unshakable belief that we need to and can raise the bar on what’s possible with technology in health. Together we are defining a new category - Impact Delivery - that enables more, better, and sustained impact from the same foundational investment in a platform like CommCare. While I’m grateful for the opportunity to share the ways my team at Dimagi helps make this possible, I’ve been most inspired by the passion and power of our partners coming together to share knowledge and champion each other. Huge thank you to The Global Fund and Federal Ministry of Health Ethiopia for making this possible.

𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 needs vary significantly across the U.S., and a "one-size-fits-all" approach to tech solutions isn’t enough to bridge the gaps. As state agencies and healthcare providers work to address these needs, they face ongoing challenges like manual reporting processes, siloed systems, and duplicative data entry, which hinder care coordination and create administrative burdens. In his latest article for MedCity News Dimagi's Co-President & Managing Director of the US Health Division Carter Powers emphasizes the need for 𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 to address interoperability challenges and improve care coordination. Meeting providers where they are, with either simple tools or advanced integrations, is crucial to advancing behavioral health outcomes. Managing TB treatment can be overwhelming, especially for nurses who face daily challenges with traditional Directly Observed Therapy (DOT). ✖️ Frequent in-person visits drive up costs and consume valuable time that could be better spent on high-need patients. ✖️Juggling paperwork and multiple tools for patient data and communication can make it hard to stay organized. But there’s a smarter solution! 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐀𝐝𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐕𝐃𝐎𝐓 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 simplifies TB care by offering 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, and 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.—all in one system. This means less unnecessary travel, fewer admin burdens, and more time for what matters most: 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 Ready to reduce the burden of traditional DOT? https://okt.to/U96Knb #SureAdhere #VDOT #TBTreatment
