I found this very helpful for my personal writing and storytelling. As we draw, we imagine things, we are very calm, and we let our instincts guide us. This is the same with writing. We need to be at peace in our writing and let things start. A very useful practice for the start of your writing can be: Start your paragraph like this... "Dear sun, in what will be your happiness if the ones you shine for are not here?" Start your paragraph with a question that can provide many exits. Think of the first paragraph or first sentence like a roundabout. Make it with more exits, opportunities, and space for creation. #passion #for #storytelling #and #writing

Writing has the power to lose you. To lose you in the right direction. And that is always a preferable thing. Writing can do that, and I am glad that I embrace it, I enjoy it. After you start writing, you feel how the words become lighter and the thoughts faster. Many times, when I write, I don't have everything clear, and I find myself lost, but always, always in the right direction. #passion #for #storytelling #and #writing

Start your day with writing. Lift yourself to see the long-term benefits from it. Writing can transform your personality, your business, your ideas. It can transform the square of your hearth. Start your day writing something you know in that practical moment. Write your thoughts about something you feel is important to you. Remember, the blank page you open every day is where you meet yourself. Start writing, go beyond. It's hard sometimes but go there. #passion #for #storytelling #and #writing

Writing is about clarity above all else. If your sentences aren’t flowing, it’s probably because they’re too long. Long sentences can feel impressive, but they often confuse your reader. Shorter sentences are easier to follow, easier to remember, and more effective at getting your point across. The goal of writing isn’t to sound smart—it’s to be understood. Clarity is what makes your writing powerful. If you want to improve your writing, start by trimming the fat. Say what you mean as simply and clearly as possible. . . . . . #writer #philosophy #creativethinker #personalgrowth #storytelling #liveacomplexlife #wellroundedlife #bethepolymath

*Storytelling* Writing and editing have been my specialty super powers for more than twenty years. Forming a story has always intrigued me, especially others' stories. The more I write, the more I realize that everyone does, indeed, have an interesting story. The way the story is written and told, though, varies greatly. Storytelling itself is a wonderful expression of self. At the heart of every good story, vulnerability plays a huge role. If we aren't vulnerable with our stories, how can we help the person reading our words? Where will the words land? While we cannot control how a reader interprets our words, we can certainly write with vulnerable confidence so the story comes alive on the page. I'm curious, how do you ensure that your writing becomes vulnerable on the page? #vulnerablewriting #ghostwriting #bookcoaching #amwriting
