Helllo everyone, This is my journey of being adaptive in bangkit academy. In this academy i actually have a friend joining bangkit with me. But we are the different classes. This class i met people that i never seen before, mentors and other student in my class. In first weekly consultation, our mentor gave me some session for introduce ourself. Many student from many background. Some are older than me and some are the same age, and of course from different university and from different province. In my class gratefully we have some expert student in machine learning path and this is my first time to learn machine learning. In the first time i feels like i cant become an expert same as my classmate do and I shock about the hetic schedule that i never do before. In the first ILT Soft Skills, we talked about growth mindset that means everyone can being an expert with his effort, no matter what the background is. After that i think about it and may i can be expert with my effort, but im still not sure about that. My mentor gave us discussion group with random student each week. The purpose of this program is for knowing each other and hopefully can help any struggle and learn together. Honestly, in my first time discussion group, im not sure to be a good mate for discussion and feels like i don't understand with other student that have different Indonesian accent. But in my first discussion group my expert classmate gave me some feedback that dont be embrassed to be a wrong and what we see in some people expert is the output not the process. I think its really good for answering my confusing question that i must be inspired and trust my process no matter how long it is. In the half of my journey in bangkit academy, im really enjoy with discussion group that im used to their accent, and when i or other students in discussion group had problem with understanding the material in the lecture or had problem with the assignment we can help each other to solve it and learn together. Also, i learn a lot from my classmate who are experts in machine learning and I'm no longer afraid because when I'm wrong my classmates can give me feedback and I can correct my mistakes and get better and with support my mentor about remindering our deadline and give some feedback and directions, now i really enjoy in bangkit academy. #LifeAtBangkit #Bangkit2024
