My Thoughts:
As someone both optimistic and practical about Web3, I often find myself grounding CEOs, visionaries, and investors in what today’s technology can truly accomplish. This balance is a key part of my role as a CTO in this space. A book that consistently comes up in my discussions as of late since I started reading it and delves into the intricate dynamics of power, technology, and statecraft—topics that resonate deeply with me.
From my perspective, it highlights how technological innovation and moral progress frequently clash, with decentralized networks like Web3 challenging traditional establishments. The conflict between the tech-driven Network and the entrenched State is at the heart of modern societal evolution. We're witnessing this power shift firsthand, as economies evolve through innovation and collective action, with Web3 leading the charge. This book has helped crystallize for me how these forces are reshaping the world, and why it’s essential to remain grounded in what’s possible as we navigate this transformative era.
