Reflecting on a summer to remember As the warmth of summer fades into memory, we look back on the moments that made it truly special. ⭐ This year marked the third DIPWORK SUMMER EVENT where our administration team gathered with their families for a weekend of relaxation, camaraderie, and fun. The event was nothing short of memorable, with the perfect weather setting the stage for outdoor activities, great food, and endless laughter.🎉 Beyond the games and festivities, these gatherings have a much deeper significance. They strengthen the bonds between colleagues, foster a sense of unity, and reinforce the value of teamwork. In today’s fast-paced work environment, moments like these remind us of the importance of connecting with each other beyond the office walls. 🙏 Events like our summer gathering play a crucial role in building a strong and cohesive workplace culture. They provide an opportunity for employees to connect on a personal level, beyond the pressures of daily work. These interactions foster better communication, trust, and collaboration, which ultimately enhances productivity and team dynamics. For the company, such events are not just about celebration; they’re an investment in the well-being and satisfaction of the team. By creating an environment where employees feel valued and engaged, we cultivate a workforce that is motivated, loyal, and aligned with the company’s vision. In essence, these gatherings are key to both individual growth and the collective success of Dipwork.💎 As the summer event came to a close, we left recharged and motivated. With renewed energy, our team is ready to face new challenges, meet ambitious goals, and continue our journey of growth. A big thank you to our team for making this event possible and for the time spent together. Here's to more shared success and even more unforgettable moments in the future! 🙏 #Dipwork #Rightperson #Rightjob

It's time for a summer break! While our public page is fairly quiet, there has been plenty going inside the group. With a growing community, some truly inspiring discussions, and a touch of serendipity, we're now making space for reflection, relaxation, and impromptu summer exchanges. Here's a quick look at 2024 so far: - 70 new members - 11 lunches in 4 cities - 6 online discussions - 1 cotton candy with a serendipitous resemblance to our logo (as exciting for the 2 young people we shared it with as it was for Heather Force and other members present that day, albeit for different reasons 😁) Our discussions have run the gamut of Employee Experience topics, bringing together folks from well over 100 different organisations, multiple industries, and (critically) different professions who , together, can then deliver better outcomes for people and teams, and therefore for the business! Do you have more to learn or share about delivering better human experiences in the workplace? Join the group! The QR code in the photo may be just big enough to scan, and here is the link: https://lnkd.in/ekAptaza Why join now, when there are no discussions on the calendar? -> Take time to peruse the posts: get an overview of the the topics and outcomes of different discussions -> Catch-up on our first recorded discussion: a mind-opening presentation and Q&A session about Endings from the inimitable Joe Macleod. -> Ask questions and share knowledge and resources in the private group. -> Propose topics or speakers for future discussions. -> Be the first to know when the post-break discussions are scheduled. See you on the other side! Image description: A photo of Heather, with silver hair pulled back, wearing a short-sleeved light purple shirt and a surprised smile, showing a flower-shaped cotton candy and the flower-like overlapping circles of the Employee Experience Champions Network logo with some similar shades of blue, yellow and pink. In the background are two kids: a young boy in a green shirt is pointing at the cotton candy and looking at his mum (who is out of the frame), and a young girl in a pink shirt whose face is partly obscured by the cotton candy, and partly by her hands, which are in front of her mouth in anticipation.

🌟 Embracing Diverse Roles: Driving Growth & Personal Development 🌟 While organizing my folders, I stumbled upon last year's internal presentation slide introducing the Social Media team. Reflecting on it, I realize how much Windy Street has provided not only opportunities to enhance my auditing skills but also to explore new areas. I strongly believe that in every organization, each individual plays a unique role beyond their job description, contributing not only to the company's growth but also to their own professional development. This year, apart from leading the Digital Media Initiative, I also had the pleasure of contributing to the planning and execution of our summer offsite and the Windy Wall project. 🚀 Social Media Initiative: Spearheading our social media efforts has been an exhilarating journey, allowing me to harness the power of social media to reach new audiences and enhance our brand presence in the digital sphere. 🏖️ Windy Summer Offsite: Organizing our summer offsite was more than just logistics; it was about fostering team spirit, collaboration, and rejuvenation. Creating memorable experiences that strengthen bonds and inspire creativity has been incredibly fulfilling. And let me tell you, it was one of the best offsites despite the 10-hour bus ride 😁 🖼️ Windy Wall: My next goal is curating our internal memory lane, the Windy Wall. I envision it as a place to share our year's journey through pictures, sparking conversations and fostering a sense of community among colleagues. It will be a spot where people can pause, have a quick chit-chat, and stroll down memory lane together. I'll admit I'm quite behind, but I'm committed to making it the best it can be. Here's to embracing every opportunity for growth and making meaningful contributions beyond our day-to-day responsibilities! 💼✨ #ProfessionalDevelopment #Teamwork #Innovation #CareerGrowth

Yesterday, our team pulled off an amazing event that was anything but ordinary! We premiered a 5-minute corporate video, but let me tell you, it felt like we were in the middle of a blockbuster movie! 🎬 The office was transformed into a movie-like ambience, with dimmed lights and popcorn stands and cotton candy. The excitement was electric as our colleagues gathered to take a momentary break before Friday lunchtime and indulge in some fun. And boy, did we deliver an eventful experience! Now, you might be wondering, "Why make such a fuss over a short video?" Well, it wasn't just about the video itself, but instead, it was all about our amazing staff having a blast and engaging with one another. The objective of this simple event was to give our hardworking team a well-deserved Friday afternoon break, where they could fully unwind and enjoy themselves in just 30 minutes. A lucky draw and short self introduction by staffs was a good getting-2-know session. Sometimes, the best way to strengthen the bond between staff isn't through formal activities, but rather by creating moments of joy and connection. It's these simple moments that have the power to bring us closer together. I wish to incorporate more of these internal activities into our workplace culture. Whether it's film premieres like this one, friendly competitions, or team outings, these moments create memories and bonds that will last a lifetime. Success is not only measured by our achievements but also by the happiness and fulfillment we find in our work environment. Let's continue to create a positive and engaging workplace that brings out the best in each and every one of us. Good job Sara Sufia Alvit Shahrial Liliana Ozlen Hisham Baharin Tariq Mohd Norfaezah S. #wewantmore 😜

Embracing the First Day of Summer: A Time for Culture Reflection and Growth As the sun reaches its highest point in the sky and the days stretch to their longest, we welcome the first day of summer with open arms. This season brings with it warmth, growth, and a renewed sense of possibility. While we often focus on personal goals and outdoor adventures, summer also presents a perfect opportunity to address and nurture the culture issues within our workplaces. Why Summer is the Ideal Time for Culture Reflection - A Season of Renewal and Growth: Summer is synonymous with growth. Nature flourishes, and we find ourselves more open to change and new experiences. This natural inclination towards growth can be harnessed to cultivate a more inclusive and respectful culture. - Relaxed Atmosphere: The laid-back vibe of summer can make it easier to have open and honest conversations. People are generally more relaxed, making it an ideal time to tackle tough topics and foster understanding. It’s time to get others rallied around your vision/values – start the discussions with Cards for Culture. - Increased Social Interaction: With vacations, festivals, and outdoor activities, summer encourages us to come together. This increased interaction can be leveraged to strengthen team bonds and address issues head-on. So let’s make Summer a season of positive change. Let’s enjoy the season but also to reflect on and address the culture issues that impact our workplaces. By fostering a culture of respect, we can create environments where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their best. As you plan your summer activities, consider dedicating time to culture reflection and growth. Whether it’s through community events, training sessions, or simply having meaningful conversations, now is the time to sow the seeds of positive change. Together, let’s make this summer a season of warmth, growth, and culture harmony. Happy first day of summer! Books ideas about culture: Conscious Culture and Culture Impact - both on Amazon! It’s a cruel summer if you have to spend Friday afternoons at the office. 🏖️ Good thing there’s evidence that offering reduced hours on Fridays during the summer can actually boost productivity. Here’s how companies can get ahead by letting their employees get out early. Do you have summer Fridays at your job?
