Smiling can positively impact your mood and the mood of those around you. It can also reduce stress and contribute to a more positive social environment. This endearing act of kindness has a ripple effect! 💯 God Bless 🙏🏾 Three SIMPLE acts of kindness. Take Action! 1. Offer a genuine compliment: Complimenting someone on their efforts, appearance, or positive qualities can brighten their day and boost their self-esteem. 2. Active listening: Take the time to listen attentively when someone is speaking. Show genuine interest in their thoughts and feelings, making them feel valued and understood. 3. Random acts of kindness: Small gestures like holding the door, helping with a task, or offering assistance can make a significant positive impact on someone's day and contribute to a sense of community.

FACTS are FACTS! I’ve given this argument before, that we ALL come from a form of slavery if we go back far enough in history. This gentleman lays it out pretty clearly in just a few seconds. 🔥👇🏻🔥👇🏻🔥

Wow Black History Month and Reggae Month in one - cultural and history overload! Many people ask why we have to celebrate black history. Quick answer - because no one else is and everyone needs to have their story told. It's the same thing with reggae. I come from a small nation that punches way above its weight and a lot of our punch comes from our music. This month I want to stretch my thinking and learn some lessons from popular reggae songs and some history. I am not sure that I have a whole month in me but let's see how far we go....... Day One! No Woman nuh Cry by Reggae Legend the late Robert Nesta Marley. At long last we are paying attention to mental wellness. According to the National Library of Medicine "It is increasingly being recognized that the mental health of employees is a crucial determinant in their overall health and that poor mental health and stressors at the workplace can be a contributory factor to a range of physical illnesses like hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular conditions, amongst others. In addition, poor mental health can also lead to burn-out amongst employees, seriously affecting their ability to contribute meaningfully in both their personal and professional lives". So how is mental wellness at your workplace? Are the women (and men) crying out for help? Do you have facilities in place to support them? Do they know about these resources? Can they use them without being shamed? Do your leaders know how to recognise when people are crying out for help? Where do you score on this list and what do you need to do?
Bob Marley - No Woman No Cry (Lyrics)

Who was that good samaritan again? We don't know. In the biblical parable of the Good Samaritan, the story leaves us guessing about the characters. We have no information about the good samaritan nor the man he helped. No names, no titles, just two strangers on the same mountain road. This story strips back the layers of identity to spotlight the action: a man saving another man out of compassion. It's not about the applause either: there isn't any witness. I think it's a good reminder in our accolade-driven world: what matters isn't who you are but what you do. When I help teams struggling to work together, I ask: Are your focusing on the actors, or on the action? Are you fixated on the person, or are you doing what's right? What about you? Are you focusing on the actors, or on the action? Have a great weekend! Olivier (Oh, and DALL-E designed that picture after a few rounds of prompts)
