"Treat People Like Family." ⭐️ As part of our 40th anniversary celebration, we're highlighting one of our company values each month. And in July, we're asking clients and members of the Direct Development team to share moments where DD has lived this value. 👉 Up next, here's a memory from DD's Marcus Hanscom, Director of Enrollment Marketing: "While I'm officially wearing the DD uniform now, I've felt like part of the family since about 2009. I remember meeting Tony and his father (and DD founder), Charlie Fraga, at NAGAP. I'd see them each year, and the DD team always knew me by name and asked how things were going. I looked forward to connecting with the DD team because they genuinely cared about sharing information and helping me grow, and I never felt like I was being pressured for a sale. Truth be told, I never had the opportunity to hire DD for any work, but that didn't change the warm welcome I received every year. Fast forward to recent years, when I was considering a shift away from my work at Roger Williams University. Tony helped me reflect on what I'd accomplished over my years in higher education — and where I could take that experience. He was always a cheerleader from afar, regardless of where I chose to hang my hat. And when I decided to join the DD team, he welcomed me with open arms. If that doesn't demonstrate 'Treat People Like Family,' I don't know what does. This is the kind of company I want to work for." #marketing #digitalmarketing #hubspot #inboundmarketing

What Wins are you celebrating this week? Often times as professionals and entrepreneurs we downplay our own accomplishments and simply move on to the next task on our TO DO list. I constantly have to remind myself to "Celebrate You", and I encourage you to do the same! After a long productive week, planning and networking I'm happy to share we are officially Certified as a Woman, Minority, Small, Local owned Business and Vendor with the City of Boston! Every step is a showcase of our passion and resilience, commitment to our Legacy and dedication to our clients. 🎯 Reasons Why People and Companies Don't Celebrate Their Wins: -Focus on Next Goals: Many individuals and companies are constantly focused on achieving the next milestone or goal. Once one target is reached, they immediately shift their attention to the next challenge without taking a moment to acknowledge their accomplishments. -Fear of Complacency: Some people and organizations worry that celebrating wins might lead to complacency or a decrease in motivation. They believe that too much celebration could make individuals or teams lose their drive to achieve more. -Time Constraints: In busy work environments or personal lives, celebrating wins may not be prioritized due to time constraints. People and companies often move from one task to another without pausing to reflect and celebrate their achievements. Reasons Why People Should Celebrate Their Wins: 💎 Boost Morale and Motivation: Celebrating wins, whether big or small, boosts morale and motivation within individuals and teams. It reinforces a sense of accomplishment and encourages continued effort towards future goals. 💎 Recognize Effort and Success: Celebration provides an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the hard work, dedication, and contributions of individuals or teams. It reinforces a positive work culture and fosters a sense of value and recognition. 💎 Create Positive Momentum: Celebrating wins creates positive momentum and energy within an organization or personal journey. It inspires confidence, creativity, and a positive outlook, leading to increased productivity and success in future endeavors. By acknowledging achievements and taking time to celebrate wins, people and companies can cultivate a culture of appreciation, motivation, and continuous improvement, leading to greater success and fulfillment. 4x Emmy Nominated. Award Winning. 👇🏼👇🏼 If you are one of these two below, STOP NOW. (b/c you are NOT the two above ☝🏼, but Ross Kimball IS and you need to get him on your radar) 1) If you host a podcast. He will be your next best interview!! His stories are amazing! 2) If you are a financial planning firm looking for the best “non-financial” speaker at your next meeting!! WHY HIRE ROSS?!? I have introduced Ross to a number of my clients, and this is what I say… ”You know how almost every firm meeting that you've ever been to has needed that extra pick me up throughout the day... Typically from someone who is not even "in" our industry... You want that amazing speaker to bring some life and energy back into the room... AND at the same time make a massive impact with the group in an immediately practical way! THAT'S WHY I am making this introduction.” PS - Neither Dave Resseguie nor The Resseguie Group receive any compensation for promoting ANY OTHER SPEAKER. PPS - I decline kickbacks of any kinds for referring people. Ross is just “good people” and you should hire him ASAP.
I help high performers show up better in every communication scenario | Keynote Speaker | Communications Skills Consultant | Comedian | Host | Ross on Jury Duty (Amazon Prime) | Paid to not be on SNL |

Happy #FACSfamFriday, everyone! Before you go out and celebrate Memorial Day, we have our next Employee Spotlight to unveil! Our very own Fred Vinciguerra is next to be in our spotlight! Fred is our CEO and works out of the Hayward office. Check out Fred's responses to our questions below, as well as a photo of him with his family out in nature. Do you have any questions for Fred or other FACS employees you'd like to see answered in the next #FACSfamFriday? Let us know by commenting on this post! What is one thing that you geek out about? It's sad, but I really don't geek out about much. Maybe the Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks. I love my Chicago teams, but geeking out is probably a stretch. What is one way that you unwind? Either by getting my sweat on (exercising, even though it doesn't show) or fixing something. I'm not super handy, but I enjoy giving it a try and feel really good when it actually works after I tried. Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion? Perm's for guys - nevermind, I wouldn't be able to get one anyway. What celebrity would you like to meet at Starbucks for a cup of coffee? Howard Stern - please don't judge. I think he does an amazing job interviewing people and is not afraid to ask questions others shy away from. What is one of your favorite books? I really don't read fiction but I do enjoy a good business book. One of my favorites is Oren Harari, Break from the Pack. It's about how to compete in a copy cat society and Malcolm Gladwell's, Outliers and What the Dog Saw - lots of short, facsinating stories. Favorite quote? "A man with one watch knows the time. A man with two is never sure."

Today, I am celebrating a special anniversary, 25 years since the founding of Gasser+Partner. This moment is not only an opportunity for gratitude, but these years are also a living testament to the power of partnership and consistent commitment. "Consistency Cumulates" – this principle reflects the essence of this journey and emphasizes how persistent dedication, day after day, can achieve great things. For me, consistency is more than just perseverance; it's the art of maintaining focus amidst change and challenges. It teaches us that it's not the big leaps, but rather the small, steady steps that lead to sustainable growth and profound change. In partnerships, this consistency finds its most fertile ground, as when individuals pool their strengths, their abilities are amplified, and shared goals become within reach. Partnership, in the true sense of the word, means to strengthen, inspire, and support each other. It's about celebrating together, but also facing challenges together. In a true partnership, success is not seen as an individual achievement, but as the result of collective efforts, mutual trust, and deep understanding of one another. "Consistency Cumulates" is therefore not just a motto for us, but a daily practice that teaches us to pursue our visions with patience and persistence. It reminds us that every day offers a new opportunity to build on our achievements, to expand our horizons, and to contribute to our shared success. On this significant day for me, I want to thank each of my partners on this journey. Your dedication, wisdom, and courage have made these 25 years an extraordinary journey. Let's carry this spirit of partnership and consistency into the future, with the assurance that, if we stand together, our best days still lie ahead.

Today is a special day for BLK BOX as we celebrate our 12th birthday! 🎉 To mark the occasion, we're excited to share a fly-through video showcasing how we manufacture our equipment and what sets us apart as a business. From day one, myself and the team have tried to build a sustainable and mission driven company that makes a difference. Early on in my career I learned about the concept of missionaries & mercenaries in business from John Doerr and have always strived to build a mission driven company. So, what sets missionaries apart from mercenaries in business? Here are a few key differences: -Global Impact: Missionaries prioritise contributing to the greater good and building a global community, rather than solely focusing on immediate gains. -Cultivating Relationships: Unlike mercenaries who prioritise short-term gains, missionaries invest time in building lasting relationships. - Ethical Foundations: Missionaries operate with a strong ethical compass, making decisions that align with values and principles. This commitment to integrity fosters a positive company culture and enhances reputation, which is vital for sustained success. -Employee Engagement: Companies led by missionaries attract and retain top talent due to their compelling mission and vision. -Innovation at the Core: Missionaries are innovators by nature, driven to create solutions that address real-world challenges. While we know we're not perfect, we're committed to continuously improving and getting 1% better every day #DemandMore #WinAsOne

Companies often invest immense energy into "beating the competition". But in reality, it's competition that pushes the market forward and drives everyone to perform better. When you have a strong vision for the future, competition becomes just another factor to consider - it might make you adjust your path slightly, but it won't change your ultimate goal. So, let's celebrate the successes of our competitors too, with some good old-fashioned freneminess! 💐 💐 #Shield #GlobalRelay #Behavox #HappyAnniversary #Competition #Marketing #Innovation #CommunicationsCompliance
People say it's a dog-eat-dog world out there, but we don't think it should be. So, when we heard that Global Relay and Behavox were celebrating big anniversaries this year, we did the neighborly thing and sent flowers! Here’s what we learned:

How can I be booted out, on a day like this? What does life have in its confers for me now? Why today, after ten solid years of dedication? It feels like a nightmare Can I be woken up? One minute ago, I gave my all, And the next, I'm chased out like a stranger. Ten years of hard work, blood, sweat, and tears, All down the drain? And for what? So they can promote Janny, someone I mentored and helped grow, to Assistant Director? It's a slap in the face. I was there before Janny, six years before her. I remembered the CEO praising me as a valuable asset. But now, I'm nothing. No regard for my years of toil, no consideration for my dedication. Just a cold, harsh dismissal. And the worst part? I am the only one who stayed, While Jade and even Kings left. I am Legite, Legite is I. But now, it feels like they have sucked the life out of me and spat me out! All for what? I refused the feathers in my cap could not raise it above the bar. But I stayed loyal, Never ran off, No stuttering on the phone No applications. Just sweat and blood, And now, I have been sent to the abyss. ******************************************* Note the moral: In the world of work, we are not just employees, we are the heartbeat of the organization. Employers crave individuals who embody passion, discipline, dedication, and excellence. However, our value is not measured by the number of years we have spent, but by the worth we bring to the table. This worth not only benefits the company but also ourselves, even after we move on to new opportunities. The moment we become complacent and laidback, our years of service mean nothing. #Productiveweek #MusingMonday #JUSE44.

We're thrilled to celebrate Katy Taft's one-year anniversary with us at Direct Federal! 👏 She has been an incredible asset to our Member Services team. Here's what Katy had to say as she looked back on her year with us: What made you apply for your job at Direct Federal? “I was looking to start my career in the financial industry, I felt my qualities could help me succeed in this position. I also enjoyed the idea of working for a Credit Union/Bank due to its job security, career growth opportunities, diverse job roles, exposure to the latest technologies, and opportunities for professional development. What really spoke to me was your (our) values—Drive, Integrity, Resilience, Engagement, Competence, and Teamwork. Over this past year, I really do love how this statement stands to be true. We really do try our hardest to work together and get things done for our members/community. It’s very admirable.” What was your first day like at Direct Federal? “Snowy. Of course, my first day had to be during a snowstorm, but it was nice. I love Erin; Erin really does a great job with the onboarding process and is a great people person for the job. Made me feel very welcomed.” What is your favorite part of your job? “MY MEMBERS. I love my members. I have a few who will come in just to see me. I think it helps that I remember most, if not all, their names. I have a knack for remembering faces and names and their usual business. Really, the look of shock when I address them by their first names, it’s fun.” What has been your most significant achievement? “THIS JOB. Making it a whole year without having any knowledge about banking and learning as much as I possibly can.” If you could go back a year ago, when you started your role at Direct Federal, and give yourself advice, what would it be? “Breathe. It’s only going to be stressful if you allow it to be.”
