So… against their better judgment, the good folks at Cyber Florida: The Florida Center for Cybersecurity are letting me host my own podcast alongside Ms. Jordan Deiuliis. I know there are podcasts galore out there, but we are hoping to use the platform to bring value to relevant audiences. That audience is much of my network: policymakers and administrators at all levels of government and the folks who staff their offices. The conversations will also hold value for anyone who leads a public or private organization. We will focus on the latest and greatest cyber policies. What are the current cyber topics and issues that decision-makers should be aware of? What does the research say are the current best practices? What resources are out there? What policies have been tried in other jurisdictions and to what success? And who are the people, and what are the stories that have impacted this policy area? We will be doing our best to discuss these topics in an easy-to-approach way, where anyone can walk away with something useful regardless of their knowledge of the cybersecurity world. We want to differentiate ourselves from other options by having conversations around these topics that don’t come off like a droning lecture of technical jargon most of us cannot relate to. We will be launching the first three episodes the first week of April, and then one episode a month moving forward. Cyber Florida hopes that this will be the first of many resources we want to provide to policy and decision-makers under the Chat:CYBR brand moving into the future. I hope that you will give us a try and add the show to your podcast rotation. More news to follow closer to the launch!
