Creating is not easy. 1000 self-talks attempting to convince yourself to begin working. You can have a parent-child relationship with yourself. Can hinder your creative flow. I've been trying to define "creative flow." This state in which you keep pushing, feeling a strong connection with your creative ideas, and nothing can stop you Do you get there by yelling at yourself? like a parent trying to get his 5-year-old to go to bed. or by remembering the beautiful outcome. Like a parent offering candy to his children. This relationship is complicated; however, it is worth creating or reforming. The best relationships develop organically, so observing that inner child and validating parenting begins to create that empathy between the two sides. This podcast is one of many that shifted my perspective. https://lnkd.in/d4UXPRid And made me value the intention to act and trust oneself (inner child). Allow him to grow.
