We dive into the characterization of type I collagen C-terminal cross-linked telopeptide (CTX) species in human plasma and serum using high-resolution mass spectrometry. This study not only expands our understanding of CTX's complexity but also lays groundwork for advancing biomarker discovery and clinical applications.
