Did you know the Myriad can be used as a stand-alone small bore variable suction ranging from 3-10Fr? This functionality can be combined with the reciprocating blade to emulate the effect of precise microscissors. The foot pedal allows the user to toggle between these two functions without removing the Myriad from the field: therefore, minimizing reentry. Aspirated tissue is collected and preserved which is advantageous for tumor tissue analysis.
