HIV/AIDS is a global epidemic that currently affects over 39 million individuals. The theme for #WorldAIDSDay 2023 is 'Let communities lead,' in recognition of the pivotal role communities play in shaping the HIV response and global health. Together, we can empower communities to combat prejudice, offer support, and raise awareness, to overcome challenges on the path to ending AIDS by 2030.
