We are doing a fundraiser for @tendingthegarden.4.sas If you are unaware of what@ttg is, it is my non-profit . “Founded in 2019 by Jimanekia Eborn, Tending the Garden grew from an idea to an organization rooted in social justice, equity, and compassionate care. In totality, Tending the Garden is for marginalized survivors who are looking for community, healing, education, and growth. We strive to provide this community through retreats, workshops, live events, and resources. Our programming is created to serve underserved individuals who deserve to feel seen, supported, and heard in an environment where they will be respected and not re-traumatized.” I say all that to say I need YOUR HELP! We are doing a fundraiser where you do not have to spend money!! We just need you to answer a few questions and survey products you already use. Each short survey you complete can earn us $1.60 in donations. They take around 60 seconds You can complete up to 75 We have a chance to earn! $15,000!!! This year’s goal is to build out our community component and structure. Which looks like Support groups, message boards, resources, tools, and more. We also want to put money towards making sure we get to do our FIRST in-person retreat this year. If you have time, please fill out a few surveys. 👶👧🧒 The Children's Advocacy Center provides vital support and resources to children and families who have experienced trauma or abuse. We believe that every child deserves love, care, and a chance to heal. And that's where YOU come in! 🙌 🎁📚 We are seeking donations of new items that will bring joy and comfort to these young individuals. Here are some suggested items you can donate: 1️⃣ Toys and Games: Help brighten their days with age-appropriate toys, stuffed animals, puzzles, board games, and art supplies. 2️⃣ Books: Foster their love for reading by donating new or gently used books for all age groups. Inspire their imaginations and provide an escape into the world of storytelling. 3️⃣ Clothing and Accessories: Children and teens often need new clothes due to growth or changes in their circumstances. You can contribute by donating new clothing, shoes, and accessories. 4️⃣ School Supplies: Help them succeed academically by providing new school supplies, backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, and other essentials. 5️⃣ Personal Care Items: Support their well-being by donating new toiletries, hygiene products, and personal care items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and soap. 💙💚 Your generous donations will make a significant difference in the lives of these children and families , showing them that they are valued and cared for by their community. Through powerful storytelling and educational resources, we’re building a community that promotes healing, resilience, and connection. But to continue our mission, we need your help. 🏠Our Residential Transitional Housing program provides housing and supports to women and children for up to a year, but the support doesn't end there! 🌈For those who've completed our residential program, the journey continues with the support and guidance of our Aftercare Program. Here's how it works: 🔹 Ongoing Support: Our dedicated outreach worker is there to provide continued guidance and encouragement. 🔹 Connection to Community Resources: Our knowledgeable team is constantly building connections with community resources to best serve the women in our Aftercare program. 🔹 Counseling Services: Access professional support for any ongoing challenges. 🔹 Tangible Supports: Through generous donations from community members, we are able to provide women in our Aftercare program with donated items to help support their new home. This program is evolving to meet the needs of the women and children we support! Consider supporting Marillac Place, as we grow to meet the needs of our community.
