Invest in your brand and sell more weed with SEO and Paid Media | Author - "How to Sell More Weed - A Field Guide”

People can buy weed anywhere. Why should they buy it from you? Typically, this is the moment I hop up on my soapbox and rant about superpowers and super brands and how dispensaries must deliver a unique and compelling branded retail experience that gives people a reason to buy weed from them. Well, surprise. I'm not doing that today (Tomorrow, maybe. We'll see.) But the bottom line remains the same: Weed is not the reason why people come to a dispensary. They come for the vibe, the culture, and the community. They come to learn. But who provides all that for them? If you guessed the Budtender, go you. #1 The Budtender delivers your brand experience. #2 The Budtender is who your customers buy weed from. Call your accountant to check the math but #1 + #2 = The Budtender is a Dispensary God. How well are you treating yours?

I'd like to hear it from the Budtenders, not the dispensary owners/managers, I think...

I agree, but as someone who was a budtender, I do like going to new shops to see what other stores are like. It's pretty cool how many options there are in SoCal. Budtenders could be treated better as I had to quit being a budtender due to being treated poorly by my manager.

This is the foundation of retail and always has been, that the front line staff are the public face of the business, and it's them that deliver the experience. Bravo and very well said. I'll add that I love your logo and that you use it everywhere. Another bravo for that.

Sounds like the role of a Budtender is more crucial than the secret ingredient in grandma's brownie recipe! Let's be honest though, if Budtenders started wearing capes, I wouldn't even question it. Superpowers? Maybe not. Super important? Absolutely! #CapedBudtenders 🦸♂️💨🌿

The majority of budtenders saying - NOT WELL MY DUDE!

This is probably overlooked by so many dispensary owners/managers. Half of the battle is getting more customers to the store. The other half is giving them a positive experience (especially for the first visit), so that they come back!
