It’s 2025. We have electric vehicles, AI, and even robots delivering groceries—so why are we still using concrete removal methods that pollute the environment? Toxic runoff from harsh chemicals is an avoidable issue, but it’s still far too common. At Dissolvacrete, we think it’s time for a change. Our chemical-free, pH-neutral solution gets the job done without leaving behind a mess for the planet to deal with. Progress shouldn’t come at the cost of clean water and healthy soil. Simple. Safe. Effective. www.dissolvacrete.com #concreteremoval #sitesafety #construction

For the past years, TECNALIA’s research engineers in the fields of #Robotics have been working within the MAELSTROM_H2020 to remove #MarineLitter and #Plastics from the seabed of our oceans. We have also developed a #SortingRobot, driven by a Perception and Classification AI, to identify the plastics, cardboard and metals that can be recovered from this marine litter. 🔹 This video shows the FINAL VALIDATION of the TECNALIA Sorting Robot. 🔹 The Marine Litter and plastics have been collected during beach clean-ups as well as with Underwater SeaberCleaner in Venice Sacca Fisola canal (patented by TECNALIA - https://lnkd.in/dqC9DD8t ). 🔹 The AI model implemented is a pixelwise LDA on NIR data with black and white normalization. Deep learning 1D CNN was also developed and implemented. 📄 Interested in contacting Damien Sallé ➕ information on Robotics and Automation at TECNALIA 👇👇👇👇 https://lnkd.in/gK2wRNX3 https://lnkd.in/dwXTKnN2 #CreatingGrowth #ImprovingSociety

Ever wondered how AI sorting works? Some companies are revolutionizing waste management with their AI-powered devices. Using a combination of visual and infrared cameras connected to a computer, these systems can accurately categorize trash under 70 different categories. From loose bottle caps to aluminum cans, AI sorting ensures precise separation for effective recycling. But the impact doesn‘t stop there. Waste plants can integrate AI systems with sorting robots to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, AI serves as a quality control system, allowing plant managers to optimize sorting processes and ensure recyclables are free of contaminants. With plans to retrofit thousands of material-recovery facilities with AI trash-spotting tools, the future of waste management looks brighter than ever. By holding companies accountable for their packaging and recycling commitments, AI systems pave the way for a more sustainable future. #Nimble #AISorting #WasteManagement #RecyclingRevolution #worldrecyclingday Source: Washington post

How battery-powered trailers could transform trucking Range Energy is revolutionizing the trucking industry by developing battery-powered trailers designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from semi-trucks, which account for a significant portion of transportation pollution. By integrating batteries into trailers, these innovative solutions can enhance the fuel efficiency of both diesel and zero-emission trucks, potentially cutting emissions by up to 50%. With testing underway in California and plans for broader rollout by 2025, these trailers aim to tackle the environmental impact of heavy-duty trucking while addressing the challenges of charging infrastructure and fleet operator adoption. Learn more about this promising advancement in eco-friendly logistics! This article was sourced, curated, and summarized by MindLab's AI Agents. Technology Generals, Don Quixote or the Dawn of Quintessential Thinking When it comes to new technology being a technology general can be as bittersweet as winning a war and losing many good soldiers in an epic battle near the end of a bloody campaign. Technology has been removing the mundane from our lives, shifting paradigms in backrooms, testing our mettle to eliminate needless bureaucracy, and simultaneously making our businesses and lives more efficient. The internet could have easily been labeled the “efficienet” in its simplification of communication and business functions. What business model is there that has not been touched by this drastic change in our civilizational fabric and foundation? Even at risk of sounding as a rant, I must say that even private business with every motive to make the bottom line the bottom line, seems to fight the inevitable changes that come with the advent of technology and its efficiencies. Take as an example two technologies I work with personally and the key stakeholders who seem to fight rather than embrace the inevitable. One technology that fails to be embraced on a large scale is our own Invisaflects Roof Technology that saves large amounts of diesel fuel and curbs millions of pounds of pollution for the refrigerated transportation market such as ice cream, meat, produce and other foods. Recently DOT Foods, probably the largest food consolidator in the country, started coating trailer roofs with the coating. They have tested and attained millions of data points legitimizing this technology and yet millions of trailers still run down our highways wasting diesel and endangering precious cargo. This falls in line with the Computer itself and the Thermoking refrigeration unit. Both technologies were looked upon early as not necessary or of little value to the first to observe them in action. Only after many years of tenacious effort were the obvious benefactors able to get a revelation to the enormous benefits afforded by these great inventions created by Fred Jones and John Atanasoff. Example number two is environmental probiotics. From what I can tell based on both laboratory and hospital testing, this technology can effectively fight allergens and the spread of disease better than anything introduced in the last century. MRSA infections that are plaguing hospitals could be fought much more effectively with this technology. Yet, doctors who learn of this technology seem hesitant to jump on board despite the tremendous value to mankind in reduced sickness and suffering. Despite comments from the head of the World Health Organization stating that we have left the era of antibiotics, we find clinicians clinging to a methodology tied to those profitable prescriptions. It’s not just patients who seem to be having troubles with drug addictions these days. Michael Temple is the founder of Invisaflects Brands and Co Founder of Energy Nerds in Cedar Rapids Iowa.

Transforming Waste Management with AI Imagine a future where waste management goes beyond collecting trash to saving lives, optimizing operations, and creating sustainable systems. AI plays a crucial role in making this vision a reality today! In a recent example, a vigilant waste truck driver spotted a child near the truck's tires, preventing a potential disaster. AI tools like real-time monitoring and behavioral analysis enhance safety, ensuring positive outcomes like this one. Here's how AI is revolutionizing the waste industry: 1️⃣ Improved Safety: AI monitors driver fatigue and distractions, leading to fewer accidents. Tools such as Netradyne’s Driver-i utilize cameras and AI for enhanced safety measures. 2️⃣ Efficient Routes: AI optimizes routes considering traffic and weather conditions, resulting in fuel and time savings. 3️⃣ Predictive Maintenance: Sensors identify issues proactively, reducing repair costs by up to 75%. Waste management has evolved into an intelligent, tech-driven solution shaping a cleaner future. It's not just a service; it's a sustainable approach for tomorrow. #AIinWasteManagement #FleetSafety #PredictiveMaintenance #SustainabilityGoals #TechDrivenSolutions #RouteOptimization #WasteManagementRevolution #SmartTechnology #FutureOfWaste #SafetyFirst
