3 reasons why engineers need each other (as does the world) I use my contacts list to make my HVAC business purr! I only really know engineers and my family… I’m a bit of a perfectionist. Or a bit boring - I’ll let you decide. Every time I hire a new technician I need to know if I can trust that person. If I can trust them to turn up and deliver like a pro. Most hires are made in the 'image' of the founder for business. As a founder you are looking for attitude. This is how I find it in people. I take them out for a coffee We go visit sites and tour We work together What happens is transformational! What was once a quiet timid professional. Turns into a chat show host! Why do engineers need each other in a team? They need to be trusted They need to do their thing They need a safe place to talk That’s exactly what I want for them to feel comfortable. To talk. For them to feel that its ok to share and connect Life is very hard in all sectors not just FM I want to know if there are problems Problems I can help with when they join.
