What do you do when things aren't blowing in the direction you want to go?
During college, I had a unique experience one year to crew on a recreational racing yacht. One of my first questions was what happens when the wind wasn't blowing in the direction you want to go?
I learned quickly that as long as their is wind, a skilled sailor can get his boat to go any place he wants. It takes some maneuvering and adjusting the sails.
That lesson is key in life.
The winds of fortune won't always be blowing in the right direction, but with some learned skills, you can get where you need to be.
What are some ways you've learned to adjust your sails when things haven't gone as planned?
