Did you play ‘shops’ when you were little? I did. In this day and age there is likely an argument that it is sexist or stereotypical for girls to play shops but all I can tell you is that I loved playing shops when I was little. Buying and selling, the kerching of the toy cash register, the pretend money. It was FUN. Now I am doing it for real and it has rekindled that feeling of childhood fun. My inner child is loving everything about the online store. Putting orders together for my lovely customers and getting new stock in just feels magical. The pup gets as excited as me when a new cardboard box arrives because he thinks the box is a toy for him to play with. You can see him waiting patiently. (Awww, he is super cute). I am still feeling the excitement of the spontaneity of how the online store came into being, getting new stock, arranging it on shelves, packing orders to go and telling everyone I know what there is available. And just letting my inner child enjoy it without worrying about results, the outcome or any other stuff that grown up me should think about. It is truly joyful.
