For me, being authentic is about being able to bring all the different elements of who I am into everything that I do. So I'm an events manager. I've been in the events industry for over 18 years and kind of like shifted from logistics to content and actually being able to put a bit of myself into the way I deliver events, my passions and interests, and to deliver events, you know, be around kind of sustainability or menopause and and the things that I'm really passionate about in terms of my activism and my own allyship. And but also in the way that I host events as well, bringing my energy, bringing a bit of of of me into the way I do it. It's the way that I am seeing event. You know I'm an events manager but I'm also a freelance MC and being able to develop to bring my energy, my queerness into stuff as well, the way I engage with people, not putting on any airs and graces or anything like that but actually just being real with people and I'm, I am I'm someone that can't hide my feelings as well so.
