🌟 Celebrating Danish Culture with International Third-Culture Children! 🌟 On October 5th, we had an amazing time hosting the Danish Cultural Day workshop for International Third-Culture Children! Our goal was to introduce these vibrant kids to the beauty of Danish culture through fun activities, delicious food, and engaging experiences. Here’s a glimpse of our exciting schedule: - Fun Welcome & Quiz: Kicking things off with some friendly competition! - Create Your Own Danish Lunch (Madpakker Workshop): Kids crafted lunchboxes with laminated pictures to learn about Danish packed lunches and enjoyed taste-testing delicious Danish snacks! - Free Play Time with Games and Crafts: Allowing creativity to flourish! - Musical Chairs with Danish Pop Songs: Grooving to popular Danish tunes. - Lunch Break: A chance to savor the Danish snacks. - Watch Danish Movies: Relaxing with some classic Danish films. - Wrap-Up & Share Your Favorite Moments: Reflecting on the day's adventures! It was a fantastic day filled with laughter, learning, and cultural exchange! 🎉 While our event on Saturday, October 12th is fully booked, we’re excited to announce that more events will be available soon! Magical Roundtables 👉Magic Roundtables are a deliberative technique used to encourage equal participation on one or more issues. 👉Deliberations can often be overtaken by extroverted participants which leaves many opinions and ideas silenced.  👉Magic roundtables allow participants to track how many times they and other members have spoken. 👉The Magic Rountable technique was developed by Farah Lenser and Heiner Benking who run 'Open-Forum.de' which is part of the Anna Lindh Foundation - "the largest Network of civil society organisations involved in the promotion of intercultural dialogue across Europe and the Mediterranean."  👉In this way, the conversation remains dynamic and transparent. 👉There are no fixed time limits for speaking as in the usual discussion groups, but listening is recognized as an active part of the conversation and as a special quality.  👉The flexible structure of the roundtables allows participants to be given votes of encouragement to continue speaking on topics that generate more or less empathy or concern. #BusinessTechnique #EqualParticipation
