What do Beck, Manic Street Preachers, Placebo, and Tame Impala have in common with DJH? We've all appeared on stage at the famous Albert Hall in Manchester! While Chris, David and Sue may not have performed, they are rockstars in their own right as they accepted DJH's win at the Greater Manchester Chamber, UK Awards for Large Business of the Year.🏆 It was great to meet so many businesses over a celebratory lunch, made even better by taking home the win. A huge congratulations to all other winners and finalists. 👏

Why? Well Labour promised to introduce the Employment Law Bill, describing it as "once-in-a-generation" changes, within their first 100 days in office. Those hundred days would take us up to the end of this week. This Bill is set to focus on areas such as day one rights, fire & rehire, zero-hours contracts and protection for new parents, all of which are due to see major policy shifts. On Saturday, our team took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support ⛰️✅ https://lnkd.in/dfrttkFk   After an early 5am start, they watched the sunrise from the summit of Ingleborough. The weather stayed on their side for the second peak, Pen-y-Ghent, but the same can’t be said for Whernside, which proved to be a tough finish as the rain started to pour. 🌧️   24.5 miles and 5,200ft later, everyone completed the challenge in under 12 hours. 👏 They've raised an impressive £12.4k so far, meaning they are so close to their £15k target!   If you’d like to show your support for our wonderful walkers, you can still donate here. 👉 https://lnkd.in/dfrttkFk
