These use a clever hydraulic system to launch riders from 0-80mph in under 2 seconds, quicker than even the fastest sports cars! Here's how it works: A powerful pump forces hydraulic fluid into an accumulator, a specialised chamber containing a pre-charged bladder filled with compressed gas. This gas acts like a coiled spring, storing the energy of the pressurised fluid. When needed, a valve is opened, allowing the gas to expand and rapidly force the fluid out of the accumulator and into the system. The pressurised fluid surges towards a powerful hydraulic motor, which in turn drives a winch system. This winch, equipped with a robust pulley and cable, grips the coaster train and unleashes a controlled torrent of force, catapulting thrill seekers forward with massive acceleration.
